  • For millions of Batman fans, Kevin Conroy is the voice they hear whenever they read a comic with Batman in it.
  • My favorite vocal deliver from his was in Arkham Knight. “You’re afraid of being ashes. You’re afraid of being forgotten. And you WILL be forgotten joker. Because of me.” “I am vengeance, I am the night, I am Batman.” Kevin, I hope you know that you will never be forgotten.

I first met Kevin in 2014 at Denver Comic-Con. We chatted about doing voice work & he had a script from BTAS that he handed me & started doing lines with me. I have never in my life felt so honored & scared at the same time. To this day I can't help but smile & tear up just thinking about it.

I’m glad he was shown so much appreciation even before his sudden passing. Not many people are so lucky. He was an absolute legend.
  • Kevin Conroy will always be my favorite. He was my childhood. He played the role perfectly. I still miss him so much. Rest in love, Kevin.

I remember my first time hearing his voice as Batman when I was 5 years old watching the World's Finest episodes of Superman the Animated Series and just being mesmerized by his intimidating and deep yet calming voice. From that point on he was MY Batman and for that reason every time I gazed upon something Batman related, live-action or otherwise, I was slightly disappointed that it wasn't him. He became my childhood hero and I would not be the same person if it wasn't for him. For all of us he is THE Batman and there will never be another like him.

When Kevin left us, it felt like Batman left us too. Even though it's been months I'm still in shock that he's gone, he seemed so larger than life that I never thought he would leave us one day. He has been and always will be my Batman, the best to ever do it hands down. Makes it even better that he was an incredible person too, thank you Kevin for giving me and countless other kids their definitive Batman and teaching us how to cope with the hardships of life. Gone but never forgotten.

A man who we all should strive to be like. He was a real life Batman but unlike Batman he wore his heart on his shirt. What an honor to have grown up with him and his voice. Rest in Peace Kevin you truly are a hero
  • Rest and peace Kevin Conroy you will forever be the one true Batman.

I met Kevin Conroy twice at 2 different cons. The first meeting was good but the second one is the most special, it was a local con and the final day of the con so everyone who wanted to meet him or see his Q&A with Phil LaMar had already done so, so he was alone and I got to speak to him for around 20 minutes!! He was so kind and at the time (November 2015) we didn’t know he was going to be Batman in the killing joke film, but he told me “keep an ear out in January” and winked at me when I asked about it.

Kevin Conroy was MY Batman. Hell even when I read a Batman comic book I read Batman’s lines in Kevin Conroy’s voice. RIP always
  • The one true Batman. Kevin Conroy will never be topped and will be missed 😔🙏🏿

I am hesitant to watch this because I know I’m gonna cry. Mr. Conroy is, in my opinion, the greatest Batman EVER. He made Batman my favorite American superhero. This man helped make my childhood cartoon watching amazing, he ruled in the specials, and was great in the games. Rest in peace, Mr. Conroy. You are greatly missed. 😢
  • A well thought out, respectful, masterful, and relatable tribute. You've done superbly, and nailed nearly everything I've ever thought about him.
  • @TevyaSmolka
I am also sad that Kevin Conroy as a voice actor and a great person is gone because damn it he was my Batman growing up and to not hear his voice anymore breaks my heart into a million pieces. 😥
  • @andrepaul3483
He will ALWAYS be Batman to me. Same with his fellow Trinity members George Newbern as Superman and Susan Eisenberg as Wonder Woman. Everytime I read a Justice League comic,I always hear their voices in my head. R.I.P Kevin, and thank you for making my childhood AWESOME.
  • @SWyrick366
Kevin Conroy passing on was like Stan Lee passing away all over again, it just broke me when I found out it happened when it did, because I thought that Kevin Conroy Batman would be around for literally FOREVER, never in a second did I think of a day when Kevin would've either retired his portrayal or him pass away at all, I figured he'd be around till he was 90 and STILL VOICING BATMAN, but now, there will never be that chance for one more word, one more line, one more time or one more story from KC Batman, Kevin Conroy was a once in a lifetime voice for a character that has had multiple versions of himself but truly only one voice that defined him, and that was Kevin Conroy, no voice could portray him, AND NO VOICE HAS EVER BEEN BETTER SINCE KEVIN.
  • @MistahJay7
I literally got chills when you played the part of Kevin sending you the message about how he felt on the animated series
  • Kevin is undoubtedly the best Batman ever. The fact that he has voiced the Character for decades is a testament to the man himself.
