I GOT TO S+ WITH THE WORST WEAPON IN SPLATOON 3

After watching an entire series with this weapon, my opinion of it has changed a little bit. While the weapon is still not great, it looks like it's good at taking out weak opponents and being a distraction for the enemy team. I cannot wait until this weapon gets a second kit though

i commented on your very first video in this series abt how its a support weapon. ive seen the light. if they buffed undercover (and fixed brellas in general) this could be goated as a slayer or whatever mix of aggressive and passive is called in this game. like the fact that you can block splat bombs and sticky bombs from damaging you at all its INSANE. loved this series i hope you do more of these with other weapons it would be awesome 🦐

I decided to do this myself with chargers my least liked weapon class and reached S+ I learned that I am surprisingly good with snipers and they are actually pretty fun you inspired me to do it with your series of course, anyway congrats!

I get the series is over but i still wanted to say some tips for playing undercover. Use ur mines like they give you money, mines are actually so much better on the undercover as people think they are, you can set them up and when people come to fight you they detonate them and each mine that explodes on them is like 35 damage, and it combos really well with the undercovers 3 shot. a mines explosion takes away one shot that the undercover needs to kill, and u can set up 2 mines. and they can be used while u keep ur brella shield up, unlike if it has burst bomb, u need to pull down ur shield to throw it and i think burst bomb wouldnt be as good on it as people think. Also, pay attention to ur shields hp, bcs whenever u dont have it pulled up, the shield regenerates health, and quite quickly too, so if u always keep it up it wont regen and break but if its weak, go into squid form for a sec and let it regen, ur shield is everything on this weapon, ur the only weapon u can shoot at people with a shield up(unless u count tenta always putting out theyre shield and shooting with it up) also reefslider is good on the undercover too, its 60 damage indirect perfectly combos with its 40 damage hit, and its easy to finish off people, or at least trade with people if they survive ur reef. and u may be thinking, but its hard to get aa reliable 40 damage on it, its only 40 damage if u hit all shots, actually, unlike all other brellas, as long as ur crosshair has an x on a player target, it will always do 40 damage, unlike a tenta brella or something where sometimes it will only do 62 damage even if u have a crosshair, the undercover brella only does less damage when u actually miss ur target. so as long as u actually hit shots, ull be fine, just like every other weapon in the game, u need to hit ur shots to do good with it

I’m impressed at how optimal you were able to use the main weapon despite only having just picked it up for this challenge. My only critique is that you didn’t really use ink mines, especially in the higher ranks. I know without sub saver it can be pretty costly, but when you have a wipeout or right before you use a special, it’s an optimal time to just throw one out. It’s especially useful in tower control and splat zone as a great disruption tool and one of the weapons most important assets if you can utilize it properly. Honestly I’m more surprised you were actually able to get as many splats as you did with the main alone. Better aim than me
