Oil catch can installation:    • Quick fix for engines burning oil TOY...
One Month after installing Oil catch can:    • One Month after installing Oil catch ...

In todays video i will show the real test how Every Oil catch can should be tested like this to see if it can separate lipid from the air
i will be using compressed air and water to spray from the inlet of the oil catch can and from the outlet only air should come out, that's the purpose of the oil catch can and that's How oil catch can works

This test should be done with oil vapors not liquid. So it should look smoke coming into the catch can and if filtered properly, should have little to no smoke passing through the outlet.
  • lejos el mejor video que existe sobre como probar un oil catch can, es excelente Saludos desde Chile

Hey Ali, good video as always. But this generic type can increases crankcase pressure x4 and restricts blow by gas airflow. You"ll have oil leaks and expensive problems in the engine if you continue to use it. So i don't recommend this type. You should buy better oil cather. Provent 200 is much better. Stay safe.

What most is concern is oil and carbon buildup in the intake port and intake valves. Still good to see the mishimoto clone filter out the compressed water vapor.

YOU are a True ❤ BLESSING 🙏 to those who choose to hear versus those who choose to listen: 2 very 'different' things. 🤨

Very nice video..been trying to find a video like this for a while. A video where it shows before and after. Thats great to know it works so good. ive had one on my 2020 ford ranger since 4k miles. Im at 32k now. Im very curious to see how everything looks on the inside of my Ranger compared to videos ive seen on the Internet of direct injected engines with turbos.
  • Actually the real test is with oil vapours being pressurised through intake of the can

Can you try making a negative pressure from the other opening to match the condition in the car?

using a bronze filter like that can raise crank case pressures on boosted engines especially which can blow oil out of the engine seals. when the bronze filter element gets saturated in oil it raises crank case pressures. glad you didnt buy a element filter type catch can as those will def cause havoc quickly.

The water spraying in and sitting was cold but its the heat inside catch-can creates the water from condensation, also the sitting water evaporates from heat build up inside and cause water into atmosphere inside adding to build up from condensation that's where water comes from not the crankcase pressure going in. Issue is condensation with catchcans.

I keep getting oil spraying out the breather filter with these. The 'in 'is from the rocker cover breather and' out' goes back to sump. Should I change them over or block one off?, I notice there isnt a filter inside it just a baffler.

Can you show where are the connection for an oil catch can for honda hrv 2017 that have r18 engine 1.8 L? Thanks
  • @razvan1927
Hi man! What about the Crankcase pressure that lock this type of catch can with bronze filter. I read a lot about this type of catch can and people are complaining because this catch can can;t release the pressure of the crankcase like before and blow the VCG leading to oil leaks . I had on my BMW N52 engine like one day and after I read this I removed it. My purpose is to clean my intake and cylinder head from moisture and carbon deposit but I don't want to create more crankcase pressure. I want to hear you opion THX!
  • @XristosTsif
what about oil catch can every day full of water and creamy oil on top?
