I bought this rusted and abandoned 1969 Pontiac GTO last fall from essentially a junkyard, we got it running back then but that was about it. I dumped it at @JunkyardDigs place and now it's time to drive this vintage Pontiac 270 miles home! Will I survive?

"The next guy who touches this will be screwed...and that next guy is probably me..thankfully I hate that guy" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Brilliant!!! Love this!!

Any video with PBG and JYD is a guaranteed hour or so of entertainment and comedy.

"Turn off the part of my brain that cares" - I've found this small but powerful concept will get you through so many of life's challenges. Thanks, Dalton!

32:31 "are you planning on driving this home??" "yeah.." the disappointment dad energy kevins dad radiated here, I could feel it through the screen

Man I just can't believe how bad that GTO has rusted away and the Guy bought it brand new.

Seeing this car shaped from a rusty heap into a running GTO with nothing but a hammer and sheer grit is why this type of video will never get old for me. Never change, Dalton.

The first test drive, Dalton's complete lack of concern and Kevin's inner fight to avoid panicking....

Lights cigarette with boat tank in the back seat, "shake hands with danger" plays.

Dude thank you for mentioning the vr1 oil. So many people pour in whatever oil they are familiar with, without even considering its meant for new cars specifically. I ruined a hot rod 454 with the wrong oil. (.30 over flat tops, cam, intake, 750 demon carb, headers, ls7 style rec port heads...) It ran excellent for about 10,000 miles And i had been using vr1 20/50. It only took 500ish miles on Castrol to ruin it.

Anyone who's watched the Silver Dollar Chevy truck that was rotted and "restoreable." Knows that Dalton has the hands to fix this GTO.

57:59 the pure enjoyment on dalton’s face vs the pure terror on Kevin’s was fantastic 😂😂
  • “Do you feel this vehicle is safe for highway travel?” … “Yes I do yes I really do. I believe that and, I know it's not pretty to look at but it'll get you where you want to go … and, amazingly, the radio still works! Don’t ask me how … but it does!”

Best frame repair ever! This is how real men do metal fab. "We could do a podcast from inside of this trunk."🤣
  • Featuring The Inevitable Jim! Another great reoccurring character of the PBG JYD universe!
  • I can't remember if I found Dalton first or Kevin but Definity love it when you guys get together Thanks for the Laughs Guys😃😎

FINALLY!!!! Someone that does revivals that isnt fake as hell and talks on camera the same way he talk in everyday life, and isnt afraid to smoke or talk about beer . Great content man keep it coming.

My first car was a 81 Corolla almost this bad. It was free and i was 16 so i loved it. Booty fabbed all sorts of floor boards and suspension repairs. Was reliable, made it a year and a half before the rear coil springs fell though the trunk. The bigger the pieces of crap the better the stories

A trick an old timer taught me long ago is that if your shocks have a single bolt on top is to grab a deep well socket and an extension, make sure you have solid contact between socket and nut, and pry it back and forth til it snaps off. It’s not like you’re ever gonna reuse old shocks so breaking them is no big deal
