Undertale - Bergentrückung / ASGORE - Epic Orchestral Cover [ Kāru ]

Doesn't matter how many times I play this game, Asgore will forever remain as both my favorite character and boss fight.

I feel like Asgore's been really underrated recently. Everyone says Sans is the saddest character in undertale because "he lost his friends/papyrus" when ASGORE has gone through twice the pain. He lost his will to fight at all. He lost his two children. His wife abandoned him. Hell, he's not even trying to win in his fight, because he thinks he doesn't deserve mercy. Asgore will always be my favorite and the saddest character of UNDERTALE. He has the most complex storyline.

"Human. It was nice to meet you. Goodbye" This scene always makes me feel bad for Asgore, he's doing a job he doesn't want to do anymore because he feels obligated to do it.This cover embodies that feeling well, good job dude!

something about asgore. when you hangout with undyne she says she fought asgore and couldn't land a single hit on him. but here, asgore takes blow after blow. until finally surrendering. just something about King fluffybuns.

I just love the optical illusion in Asgores battle sprite x3 depending on your impression of him, you can see one of two things. Him looking down in shame as he cant "even bear to look you in the eye." or, a wicked grin as he tears after you with everything he has. if you were to play the game like any old RPG and not pay attention to the lore then that second one is probably what you would see. honestly he's one of my favorite characters x3 just because of how... interesting he is when you really start to dig deeper. when you really think about it, the poor guy needs a hug TxT

As a percussionist, I love how the drums dominate the piece! Also really love the blend between instruments, electronics, and voices! Fabulous work!

Damn you. Not only have you combined two epic tracks from two exceptional pieces of media in Attack on Titan and Undertale, but you've also made me realize Erin and Asgore have a remarkably similar tragic tale: Becoming THE ultimate monster for the sake of their loved ones and shouldering the consequences, even though they know it'll be at the cost of innocent blood and their soul. I dunno if you intended to draw that parallel, but either way you're a goddamn genius.
