This is actually nuts. Now we do have to take every "HEY! The guys was cheating" or "I got cheated" claims seriously. :/ And it will make soo many players more anxious about that. Even when players are not cheating, but they think enemy is (many false claims incoming). WG needs to react FAST... I mean they gonna have to be faster than a squirrel on espresso to fix that mess! Haiyaaaaa, this is bad.

Imagine if there was some kind of message board type thing, where the community could write comments and inform WG of these issues, we could call it a forum.

2-3 months ago i did a reddit post after being killed pretty much like that, without being spotted. And the player that killed me went from having 5-600 dmg with Tier X, to have 4-5000 plus on every tank. The post got deleted for shaming.

i never thought cheats were legit in WoT for ages, just unfair mods but nothing extreme like ESP ect. but this is concerning and making me question what i thought was possible.

I actually met a guy who was cheating like that. I was chilling, platooning with members of a CC discord (won't say the name, it isn't relevant and the youtuber is great), and I came across a really cool guy. We were playing, having fun, laughing together, and he had very good results. That was weird because he had been playing the game for only a year and he was better than me with a decade of experience. I didn't pay much attention to it, but battle after battle he would get 5-6k on a Skorpion G. So I straight up asked him and he confessed. He was using this EXACT same method to cheat (he even screenshared everything to me). Safe to say that I haven't talked to him ever since and I have reported him. I haven't played the game for a few months, so I don't remember his username, but I might go back just to expose him to you guys. The worst thing is that he was doing that on the EU server for a year 6 months ago, so the plague has already spread.

Hi, I recently encountered a TVP that was blind-firing at me constantly, even when I changed bushes or sides of the map without being spotted or destroying any objects. Strangely enough, the enemy artillery was AFK, while both of our artillery units seemed to be controlled by the same person, as they were moving and shooting at the exact same time. Thanks for this video; it explains everything!

I left CS many years ago because of cheaters, then Tarkov became infested, too. Please don't let WoT suffer the same fate.

Very good and important video. I grew suspicious about something like that a few weeks ago. Clanmate and i played on Wadi, i was playing a TD and stood behind rocks close to the base. I know those bushes are often targets of blind shots, so i stayed behind the rocks. Our scout already cleared the mid bushes so i took a short peake. Bam onehit FV shot the moment i randomly peaked. Same a few minutes later with a teammate. He told me he wasn't spotted aswell. And then something like that occured a third time.. after the second guy got onehitted by the FV i grew suspicious and after the third one i was pretty sure there was something wrong. I messaged the FV player after the game and he told me it was just random blindshooting... well i didn't believe him because those 3 shots all were onehits on targets that were hidden behind cover and then shot after a short peak. He coulnd't have known the exact moment his enemies peaked. The first time i thought okay.. lucky. But 3 times in a row ? ...noway.

OMG! thank you for mentioning the Asia server, we have a very low playerbase, 12k peak during events, these cheaters absolutely destroy games. a few years ago WG banned 1,500 accounts for using cheats/hacks, that's over 10% of the playerbase. i've been blindshotted so many times without ever being spotted even after swapping sides of the map in a light tank, i knew the player was cheating but had no way to prove it, thank you for bringing this to light so everyone can see.

WG in 2014 gave me 2 strikes(189k subs) and banned me from making videos on WoT simply for mentioning the problem with bots in game. It's funny to see how in 2024 they turn a blind eye to the demonstration of such cheats in the game.

@Dakillzor - I had a game very much like this. Same TD, same map same experience - and I made a ticket to WG. I referred to this YouTube video to help investigate cheaters. All I got was a no good answer: "Please keep in mind that we do not manually punish players using forbidden modifications, our automatic system is taking care of this." Wargaming don't care about cheaters!!! Thx for your good videos, good work 👍👍

A good start would be remove all the mods from the game, as a player that takes the game a little bit competitive in a healthy way the first thing I would love to is that every single player have the same game, idk why is legal to have extra features in game that are not downloaded by the game client.

This is very sad. I've been in this game since 2013 and these new chetas are just brutal. These cheaters can literally group up in platoons and completely ruin tons of matches. I've been progressively playing less and less and this is really bad news of WG can't put a stop to this somehow.

The rampamt rigging, bots, and cheaters on NA finally made me uninstall after 13/14 years.
