I wish manufacturers would stop with the useless sports bars already. Nissan to ford, no one wants them yet dealers add them for a markup
  • When the Ranger TREMOR first came out in 2021 I found a Velocity Blue one state over in Idaho and traded in my Focus RS for it. Our Ranger is a Lariat TREMOR and it's great. My wife and I have been very happy with it. I play with it in the desert as well as weekly trips up to Lake Tahoe (30 minutes from the house to launch them at Sand Harbor) and up to where I work at a Ski Resort 6 months out of the year. It is even good on road trips to New Mexico and more. I like the new Ranger very much with the all the new adds to it and the upgraded interior. The Raptor is great with the one lone exception of how much it can tow which leads me back to the TREMOR which can tow 2000 lbs more. If a TREMOR is anything like the Wildtrack X overseas I would get it. One thing the Raptor has that the other Rangers do not is AWD optional setting which is great for all the driving in snow that I do. BTW the reason for no side steps on the RR is because of the exhaust routing. A Gen 6 TREMOR 2.7 with 2H-4H-4L and AWD would be great along with the Lariat trim. Otherwise I would keep my 2021 TREMOR or get a Raptor and smaller camper. Thanks for the site, it's great!

Yes, we will get a Ranger Tremor and it will be almost, but not exactly, identical to the old Ranger Tremor in terms of equipment. That equipment included Trail Control, Terrain Management, rear locker, 2.0 Fox shocks, 32" General Grabbers, the off road information components in the info screens and the 6 upfitter switches. As well as the skids included with the FX4 package. Including front skid, engine and transfer case as well as fuel tank "guards" as Ford calls them. The current FX4 come with Drive modes, Trail control, the same off road info screen, improved shocks and locking rear diff. It also comes with 31" tires but true 31" tires, not tires rounded up from 30.6" like so many other trucks. The Aussie Tremor is wearing 285/70/17 tires so that's what we here in the States would say are 33" tires so an upgrade over the 32" of the former Ranger Tremor. The new Australian version also gets the full time 4WD mode that wasn't available on the last gen Ranger Tremor. Spec'd with the 2.7 liter, the XLT high package, spray in bed liner, advanced tow and a couple of other goodies a new XLT crew cab with the FX4 package comes in at $47,520. If a Tremor package truck needed all those upgrades then it'd be treading on the heels of the Raptor price wise without the maximum capability off road. Leaving just greater towing capacity and a little better payload as it's calling card. But if Ford included many of those higher end features for around 48 to 50 thousand then there really would not be a need for ninety nine and a half percent of people to buy the Raptor other than to say they have a Raptor. Because capability wise what the Raptor can do significantly better isn't what most people even have the terrain available to do. From a reality perspective a mid-line spec'd XLT with just the FX4 and towing packages will get pretty much everyone to where they will really go (Home Depot, Wal-Mart and the vacation cabin) For roughly $44,280. And it is very off road capable for real world uses, not play area stuff most first owners would never even think of doing. The Tremor steps up the game a notch off road performance wise but not dramatically so it would likely take some included extra features for the money to be viable. The new Tremor will likely have the XLT high package standard. Advanced towing standard, spray in bedliner standard, full time 4wd standard, the 2.7 liter V6 standard as well as the 33" inch tires and slight lift while retaining the off road electronics and upgraded suspension it already had. All this for 50K or less and Ford has a hit. Ford isn't going to do more than that and step on the Raptors toes just like they don't go too far with the F-150 Tremor. Coil springs are for Raptors. High output V6's are for $100,000 F-150s and Raptors. 10 inches of wheel travel on a mid size is for Raptors. They have to keep some things exclusive or the Raptor is no longer unique and therefore no longer special.

Would like Ford to bring the Tremor here to the states especially if it comes with the front locker and at a good price. Though I hope they start making all Rangers with the J brace installed in the bed from the factory.
  • @2151abell
Caught it here First David, your always right on top of it... Much Thanks !
  • @nm-qt2hb
This is a great truck. Does 98% of what most people need. Great info. Thanks
  • @yourenzyme
If they actually bring back Lead Foot Grey I'll be so happy
  • @mpeugeot
Not without a 2.7 and rear coilovers at a minimum. The General Grabbers are very decent tires.
  • @ROC805
In Australia there is rumours we are getting a Ranger Super Duty...Ford registered the Ranger Super Duty for the right hand drive.
  • @ROC805
In Australia all Ranger know matter what it model it is gets a matching rim and tyre as a spare
  • I'm ready to see this thing, will be leaving my Bronco for a '25 Ranger.
  • @KODstorm21
I want that roll bar for my Ranger Raptor lol I got my truck two days ago after waiting a year
  • @StevePoje
I would definitely consider it Since I'm #1 in line for your's, let's see which one is available first.
  • Sad thing is it doesn't have the gold/orange accents on the grill & sides!. c'mon Ford Aussie/RSA
  • @coldcc9966
I would be happy with a Tremor for the ranger
  • I ordered my 2022 ranger tremor in dec of 21 picked up may in 22 only problem i have is a vibration at 55mph to 65 any one out there hav the same problem dealer changed the drive shaft same problem
  • I'm betting on it coming in 2026 Bronco will get a small refresh in 2025 and Ranger will get the Tremor later, that way something is always updating. Besides, Rangers came back in 2019, and we didn't see a Tremor until 2021 ..... They love to make you wait.

    I’ve got a 2.7 XLT FX4 coming for 47k. I don’t really think it’s worth 5k more for a different sticker and a different cloth interior.
