    Thank you! We just got a 8 week old kitten and I was looking at this product to get him. He's currently on NomNomNom but want to see if we can switch him to something else. If you can please do review on NomNomNom, Cat Person, raised right and a canned food called Ziwi Peak. We really want to raise a healthy cat, he is our first one. We've had dogs and one died of cancer. I'd like to feed this little one the healthiest food I can give him. Thank you in advance!

    I was told that you have to remove the moisture % to get the dry matter %, then find the crude protein % out of dry matter. So their fresh food should have 62.5% Crude Protein, 23.7% Fat. Most wet canned foods have 8% to 15% crude protein labels. Dry foods don't have much moisture, so their protein value doesn't change much like wet foods.

    According to your buddy from Hill's, those numbers for Calcium and Phosphorus are high. The numbers (mg per 100 kcal) for SD Adult 1-6 Tender Chicken Dinner are Phos: 175. Calcium 178. Sodium is high as well. SD is 40.

    What do you recommend I feed my 1 1/2 year old MN indoor only cat He’s playful but still chunky He had medium fur so I did rule out the coughing/choking is hairbulls I use laxatone and eats wheat grass He no longer suffers with choking He’s currently on purina one indoor hair ball And purina one wet food shreds 2 cans per day and grazes on the dry. He loves snacks and enjoys boiled chicken occasionally. I just want my cat to be a healthy guy and live a longer life and I almost bought smalls for cats

    Certainly bad marketing. They reduced the questions, provide no customizations before you buy in and dont even say what it would normally cost, plus no kcal numbers.

    Isn't it that wet food has to have at least 10% protein and dry food at least 40%? Because if it is, then smalls meets the requirements.

    Wish I would’ve seen this before I got it 😩 so what wet food SHOULD my cat eat, I just want to feed her the best food I can
