Reacting to my subscribers’ unpopular opinions on miraculous ladybug!🐞💕

I think people say they don't like Marinete as the protagonist because Adrien don't get much screen time and that makes them want more of him because they feel forced to see only Marinete's side, and a simple way to solve this would be to give a little more screen time to Adrien so that everyone has a little of each, I mean, he is the second protagonist after all and I admit that if certain episodes had less time with Marinete everything would happen the same way, she can be the main protagonist and have the most screen time with Adrien also having his moments in a balanced way.

My unpopular opinion: Aspik's costume has a lot of nice details, the problem is the head, but even with this his eyes are colorful and cute.

the last one - i want to say my opinion on the "collector" point : lb and cn knew very little about the miraculous, especially chat noir. they probably thought that in order for someone to be akumatised hawkmoth had to be powering them the entire time. master fu knew that it's possible for gabriel to akumatise himself but as we know he barely explained anything to his chosen heroes

I never really liked Adrien's advice to "take the high road" with Lila's lies at the end of the episode "Chameleon", it was presented as Marinette needing to learn to let her bully have a chance at redemption, rather than self-care. Thankfully, this ends up corrected way later in "Revelation" (Which teaches a moral about how some people won't change no matter how much you try, and that sometimes you only see good in people because that's what you want to see) where Adrien admits he was wrong and that his strategy only gave Lila an incentive to become worse.

19:07 yeah, i remember Ladybug saying that it would be ok for him to know a little and that was the point of the plan she made without knowing that he already knew Cat Noir's identity, Luka could have at least said he knew Cat Noir's identity and worked up the courage to eventually say he knew hers too. Luka is one of my favorite characters, but I never liked how he is so calm and doesn't take action unless he reaches the limit, but the problem is that by the time he reach this limit it could already be too late.

I think I'm more worried on how many seasons we'll get total. It's too soon to end at all but also shouldn't go in too long before going sour

I feel like Chloe should have still been queen bee since we have someone irredeemable, that being Lila. Maybe not for a long time and a slow burner is ok, but after a lot of people standing up for themselves against her and several people approaching her would lead to Chloe realising that she was being rude and mean, and perhaps even apologising, then she would become queen bee again. I just like the idea that it will teach kids that watch the show that even if they were mean, they can change and apologise. i truly feel that in a world where so many characters are getting redeemed, Chloe was legitimately one of the characters who should whilst Lila was the character who actively chose to still be bad.

THANK FOR BRINGING UP THE LILA POINT!! I really dislike when people attack Nino or Alya (especially Alya) for not believing Marinette, as if Lila wasn't intended to be put into the show to diverge everyone. She is an incredibly smart and evil villain, therefore her tactics are going to work- which is why Alya and Nino and even the whole class believes Lila over Marinette. They are not bad people for not being able to see through her lies, the only reason why we as an audience are able to see through Lila's deception is because we can see the evidence. Lila is tactical, she knows how to clean up after herself and pin the blame on others, we cannot blame 14 year olds for not seeing the whole picture when there's no evidence to back up Marinette's claims. Of course it's okay to be frustrated, but the sad truth of the matter is that Marinette doesn't have evidence and Lila knows that, she takes advantage of it. Another point I have is that some people seem to forget that even Adrien believed Lila over Marinette at one point

Master Fu is a horrible mentor. Marinette gets a lot of the hate that should be going to Master Fu.

As much as I don't like Destruction, it makes sense why she didn't grab the miraculous. We're talking about a teenage girl who just outsmarted a person who is at least more than double her age and the source of her anxiety. Of course, she wouldn't think to grab the miraculous at that moment, and she even regrets not doing it at the end of the episode.

In terms of Marinette’s character I related a lot to her in terms of her love for fashion but the show barely explores that. I really liked that part of Marinette’s character the most, the show just doesn’t show how she tries to improve in that area. I’m not saying they don’t but I wish it was explored a lot more but since she is the guardian now that can’t be explored as much.

I think the point you make about adults expecting too much of the teenagers on the show and the point of Marinette only being obsessed with her crush on Adrien go hand in hand. Remember being a teenager yourself? Remember fangirling over a star or idol to the point of obsession? Like it happened with Twilight? Like it happens with boy bands? It's the exact same thing. It's normal! So cut the girl some slack here. We've all had a crush that we would go borderline stalker mode on,if we're brutally honest.

17:32 I think season 5 is good but it has a lot of things together that could have been placed throughout the other seasons.

An unpopular opinion here but I love Luka even more after seeing him lying to Ladybug (that sounds horrible but bear with me here). It shows that he isn't perfect after all, that he also has flaws and that he is willing to lie for (what he thought it was) the right reason. Again he isn't right, I agree that he should've told her, but it's the fact that he didn't which makes him a more believable character.

those first ones (yours!) are soooo valid. you're 100% correct. still watching will edit comment when finished uwu with chloe: she was changing tho. it got absolutely axed because astruc has a weird hate boner for making this character awful. tho i dont think she should have kept the bee miraculous lmao part of a good character arc for her would have been accepting that she didnt need the bee miraculous or any miraculous (in a positive way) but everything else was pretty solid tho. 10/10 video
