Jokes on you, but I bought the Octoling amiibo before they went out of stock back in 2019. Also, Squid Sisters, best idols, I can’t agree more.

The Octo Expansion Octolings plus Hiro (Blue Octoling) are high tiers in my opinion. They are designed the best.

I especially love how once you put them in-game, the S3 amiibos have different dialogue and personality to the S1 and 2 ones. While Smallfry isnt much (obviously), Veronika (the girl) is chill and nice, while Hiro (the guy) is really energetic and excited to see you. The promo characters very rarely get canon personality so i love it when they do (and Hiro's personality us so cute too. He uses a lot of slang which is really funny) The rating is 👌 love it.

On the flipside, ranking them on just looks leaves me wondering Why Not Just Save Up For A Nendoroid Or Something; half of what makes amiibo cool imo is that They Do Something.

I have managed to get all the amiibos so far ( especially the octoling set which is hard to get I've heard ), the only ones I need is the splatoon 2 inkling girl and squid amiibos and the recoloured Splatoon 1 set ( inkling girl green, inkling boy purple and inkling squid orange ) and then I've completed my collection ( just need to wait for future Splatoon amiibos then ) and

Yeah I agree boy amiibo in splat 1 is shit I honestly think the only problem the splat 3 inkling and octoling have is the ink tank, the previous amiibo actually had something in the ink tank or in the case of the OE amiibo the ink tank atleast looked more detailed. with these 2 new ones however they just less good because they're just painted and don't really show many other details
