I met a girl from Turku, fell in love and married her. We'll be celebrating our 22 year anniversary this year. Many fond memories of Turku's marketplace, cathedral, Aura River and most of all, it's people. Much love!

I visited Turku by train. Besides of all the landmarks. One of my memories takes me back to an nice little bookshop, just between the canal/river and the city centre square. I took many many beautiful postcards with me. Also visited a museum and walked a lot throughout the city untill the time came to walk back to the railway station. Greetings from NL

I fell in love to one VERY special "Åboriginal", which is a nice translationjoke from ancient history of confederation time between Finland and Sweden. Swedish name for Turku is Åbo, "A resident by the river". Once you visit Turku, you note soon the odd similarity to a beautifull and hyperinternational city of Berlin. Everything in pocket size. Don't miss.
