This is a journey of years spent discovering Taiwan's most interesting, unique and delicious culinary traditions and dishes. I've compiled them into an extensive documentary from all corners of the island and outer-islands. Taiwan truly has in my opinion the best food in the world, at least for me.

When I moved from Canada to Taiwan in 2016 it was the first place I really fell in love with food. My travels since have taken me to a lot of places with really good food, but for me, Taiwanese food is my favourite. Thanks for watching this video that was years in the making and many trips around Formosa Island.

I love TPE!!! Yes, I have to agreed with your view on your comments from others, to me TPE is the class of indescribable Asia at large and then you micro to Southeast Asia and all your taste buds just embody cultures in a sense of self acceptance and discovery that their are more to life then just you , when emerging is just amazing!

Videos like these make me want to go back so bad. Your early Taiwan videos were the reason why I went there in 2018 in the first place!

What a bold statement Luke :-). I do agree, Taiwan has some amazing food, and I really look forward to watch this epic and long episode. However: I think what country has "the best food" depends of course on food experiences, but also on memories, what you like, the people you shared it with, what you experienced, on traditions, if you like meat, if you eat innards etc. etc. etc. For me, if I had to choose, it would be Italy, with a very close runner up Thailand. And than Taiwan / China / Japan / Spain and Vietnam (in random order), depending on what I am feeling for.
