The thing about Gary Oldman is you could be just living your life and then suddenly the director yells cut and it turns out you're not you. You're a character played by Gary Oldman. He's that damn good.
  • @WDMurphy
Gary Oldman Such a versatile actor Ashleigh can't even recognize him from one character to another. lol
  • @speedhuntr
"Is this about to be the greatest movie I've ever seen?" I CACKLED. It's great.
  • @DrLipkin
Ash liked Air Force One so much that she not only broke her typical rating scale, she invented a new scale and then broke that.
  • @Stile4aly
This is one of those peak 90's high concept action movies. The good guys are good, the bad guys are bad, and the explosions are big. Just an ice cream sundae of a movie.
  • @jp3813
'97 was an exciting year for action movies: Air Force One, Con Air, Face/Off, Starship Troopers, The Fifth Element, Conspiracy Theory, Tomorrow Never Dies, etc...
  • @s.oliver3687
"Born on the Fourth of July" is a great movie.
  • @Ladylenea
" I was worried about the wrong ppl,,,,, I was worried about the right ppl.." love that๐Ÿ’–

' I don't think I know Gary" Oh you've seen Gary Oldman several times on the channel. He plays Sirius Black in the Harry Potter movies, Comissioner Jim Gordon in the Batman/Dark Knight movies, and Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg in the Fith Element. Of course he looks so different in every role he plays it's often very hard to differentiate one role from another. He's a literal master of disguise. Gary also played Dracula in "Bram Stoker's Dracula1' from 1992 directed by Francis Ford Coppla (the same guy who directed The Godfather), the movie is fairly decent, but if you're gonna get into Dracula i recommend starting with the old black and white movie from 1931 with Bela Lugosi.

A movie by the same director about a GOOD Secret Service agent: In The Line of Fire
  • @oystersnag
The score to this was written by Jerry Goldsmith in twelve days. I had the honor of playing with Jerry back in 2002 and it will remain one of my favorite memories from my music days. He's extremely talented and adds so much to the films he composes for.

"I did not prepare myself for a stressful movie today!" *Watching Air Force One*. LOL
  • @matthewbeale5083
I'm a 42 year old man who has seen this movie at least 10 times and I still tear up when that F-15 pilot intercepts the missile. IRL that'd be an automatic Medal of Honor.
  • @endling_king960
one of my many favorite lines in this movie is at the end when Harrison Ford gets to the other plane and the pilot announces "Liberty 24 is changing call sign, Liberty 24 is now Air Force One!" such a great way to announce that they have the President on board.
  • @YodatheHobbit
Here's the trick about Gary Oldman, you only THINK you don't know Gary, because Gary Oldman is a chameleon actor. Oh hi Sirus Black. Oh hi Commissioner Gordon. Oh hi Dracula. Oh hi bad guy who's name I can't remember from The Fifth Element despite the fact that I've seen it at least 30 times.
  • @Bad_Wolf_Media
I feel bad for Blake, not because she watched this movie without him, but because he has to deal with Asleigh's movie-PTSD next time they fly somewhere.
  • @reesebn38
"Witness"(1985) is a great Harrison Ford movie. His best perfromance!
  • @thane9
I remember this movie in the theater. There were moments of literal cheering from the entire audience. It was a ride!
  • @ChairView
The President's Family Has Been Kidnapped "Yeah but are there snacks?" lol
