This is an instructor’s presentation for teaching students about qualitative research designs.
It will be converted to video and uploaded to the instructors YouTube channel to be shared and stored as open access. In this short course I will cover 5 fundamental methodologies that are commonly used in various research projects. I will critique their origin, purposes, weaknesses and strengths and defend one method in relation to the extensive research problem of missing and murdered Indigenous women - MMIWG (e.g., dissertation study).

After being exposed to the methodologies in this short course, students will become better equipped to produce a design for problems they encounter in academic careers and post-academic professions in the workforce.
