  • His first mistake was putting the dent remover in the center of the dent You want to work your way outside inward never start in the center.and just remember it will be a rinse and repeat cycle until dent is gone

Mostly from what I see from your video, when the puller tool breaks from the dent surface, the adhesive fails mostly from the puller tool surface, resulting in leaving the adhesive on the dent. As a surface scientist, I would suggest firstly you need all surfaces to be clean and free of grease. As the failure is more often on the puller surface I would recommend that you clean its surface with alcohol or even better to roughen it with 240 wet and dry emery grit paper, then wash it with water and finally an alcohol rinse and dry with a tissue dab. That should enhance the adhesion on the puller material. Also with any adhesive bonding, the glue thickness needs to be as thin as possible. When it becomes too thick you will then get adhesive failure, which generally is weaker as it fractures through the glue rather than one of the other 2 surfaces. ie the puller surface or the paint surface. So my advice to you is when the adhesive has been applied to the puller, press it hard onto the dent to encourage a thinner glue line.

heck yeah! I like it when my favorite YouTubers trying a new format. Legit nice car, man!
  • We lived through the process with you, willing it to work, because you did keep trying one more time! I have suggested to my husband that he return the kit he bought from Aldi, although it was a bargain 🙂. Thank you for sharing this

Paintless dent removal, from the inside, might have got both perfect (aside from the scratch). Interesting vid.
  • @kellen-KMK
Thanks for the info. The kit I got had no instructions whatsoever, this helped a lot. 👍🏾
  • I like this different type of video, gadgets are fun too and useful. I look forward to touch up paint review, hopefully more successful. This dent remover was "ok" over all for what you paid for it.

Thanks so much for your vid . I’m an older Aussie lady and I bought this kit off our Aussie Amazon . It came today without any instructions. A little bit annoyed that it looks like it’s going to take a lot of effort to get any results. 😕But I thank you for your honest review 🙏and I’ll give it a go when I have time 👍
  • Good video I've just brought similar kit .I've watched lots of videos with guys who do this for a living and is a long process to get really good results. Given that they are using professional tools.

Take to a professional?! They want an arm and a leg and to empty your pocket to do the job! No way, no chance! DIY or get a friend or his friend who knows the skills! This video was CLEAR to follow!! 💡✅✅💡
  • @abghere
I was hoping it will work better than it shows. I need to fix a dent on my car door as well. But looks like its a iffy proposition.
  • @teedtad2534
Good tips! Well explained! Bravo he finally got it!! 😅🙂😊😊
  • I like tapping them out then sanding, filler and paint..of course depends on the size , small bullesye dents are best done like this..I think the slide hammer version is better. I've broke a few of these as they cant stand the strain of pulling to hard on a dent..Pro paintless removal isn't that expensive and they use tools that go behind the panels and do a very good job
  • some times running hot boiling water straight from the kettle over the dent can make the dent pop out, may be worth a try.
