The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 6 - Angry Review

From training to be a Jedi with Luke Skywalker to being Lizzo's pet. Great job

This episode is a fine example of why good writers are so important.

This episode felt like that video game side mission that you have to complete in order for the next main quest to pop up on the map later.🤣🤣🤣🤣

This season has utterly destroyed the emotional weight and intrigue that the ending of season 2 had.

Waiting for this review was like waiting for your parents to get home when you got a bad report card.

In like 5 minutes Bo-Katan and Djarin: find the other mandalorians, defeats her rival, regains command of her team, and regains the dark saber. And it literally took 35 minutes to get to all of that with a buddy cop defective droid side plot. This season has achieved this weird anomaly of both rushing and lagging on the retaking Mandalore arc.

One of the biggest, if not the biggest issue that I've noticed with this season is that Din doesn't have a goal. He had a short term goal, which was to be baptized as a mandalorian again and which he accomplished in the 2nd episode. But he doesn't have a long term one. He's not working towards anything, so it feels like he's just wandering in the wind. While Bo, who has a long term goal, is taking over his show.

This episode had GOT season 8 level writing

Din Djarin is now giving me Jon Snow vibes. He is being sidelined HARD all the while being forced to play the “She is my queen” angle.

Dude I’d have bought every Lizzo album ever for the rest of my life and given the season a 10\10 if she bit the bullet, wore a worm costume and walked out as Lizzo The Hut and Jack Black was her dancer slave.

It is immersion breaking to have REAL LIFE celebrities just do cameos where they are basically themselves but in x fantasy universe.

Boba lost his show to Mando and teenager bikers and now Mandos lost his show to Bo-Katan 😆

Mando, has been around for 3 seasons of his own show and has the depth of a puddle.. this season feels like Filoni and Favreau are making a story from playing with toys in a play pit .

Mandelorian feels like a bunch of short stories, barely connected. And the worst part for me is that every time i think they finally reveal the main villain/have some connecting Epsiodes, it just kinda... ends. I was hopin the doc might meet mando because he starts working with clones again. I was hoping Gideon was "setting up" the Mandelorians in his prison escape for a conflict with the new Republic. I was hoping "seeking for the bath" would be a mysterious, long adventure into Mandelore and its history. But it all kinda just.... falls flat. Its a bunch of short stories strung loosely together, with Mando himself kinda just being a side character.

It's kinda funny that Picard and Mando switched places quality of writing wise this season.

These shows feel like a story made to fit a list of corporate bullet points.

If only super battle droids could run this fast during the clone wars…

The way Mando and Bo Katen were able to solve the mystery with a space matchbox, was very 1980's action figure cartoon series
