Also, there are a number of things you left out, such as the Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak, or Miramont Castle, or the Coffin Races in October.

You should have taken the Inclined Railroad out of Manitou Springs to the top of Pikes Peak and back... Manitou Springs is also a cool Victorian town to explore just outside of Colorado Springs... You also should have taken a tour of NORAD inside Cheyenne Mountain...
