The phone box was replaced back in the 90s with a newer version. They used a prop over it when filming. After a while it was replaced with the genuine one seen today.

Hi,, just to say , I recently talked to David Lonsdale, who we know played the great David Stockwell.. I was at the great yearly heartbeat classic car show .. David has a farm in real life not far from the famous village. I recommend a visit to the yearly show to all ..
