Do not miss your turn.

There are times in our lives when we have the opportunity and the ability to make a decision that will change the direction of our lives. Joshua issued this invitation to the people of Israel as they entered the Promised Land and we are issued the same invitation. We must decide for ourselves whom we will serve.

If you would like to support Ascension Presents, send us a Super Chat / Super Sticker in the chatbox or send us a financial gift ( tinyurl.com/2mbu7tvx ). Your support helps us provide you with the Catholic faith formation media you know and love. Thank you!

If you would also like to make a donation to the Newman Catholic Campus Ministries at the University of Minnesota Duluth, you can donate here: bulldogcatholic.org/donate/

Finally, we also ask you to continue supporting your local parishes. Thank you and God bless you!

Fr Mike: This homily makes me think about my own youth, and how there was no guidance. No counselors. No one to talk to. Our religious education was practically nonexistent. Kids today are so lucky in that they have the guidance if they reach out for it. I am a 67 year old widow and get to read bible and catechism in a year each day! The culture has changed so much, I think for the better. Thank you Father, for what you give to the world every day!

I always watch Fr. Mike Schmitz after my usual mass. Sometimes the homily isn't great where i go so this just finishes the day perfectly. Relatable and great energy.

  • Fr. Mike makes the Bible passages each week perfectly define the circumstances we face today. He is relevant and he is a gift to us. These Ancient Words are 4ever Truth and 4ever the Heart of a Faithful and Loving God and I don’t want to miss my turn. Even with a plethora of options, I choose Him now and always! God Bless you Fr. Mike and all this VFP. 🙏❤️🕊️
