Actually in the comics Damien has a weird attachment to animals like bat cow which is arguably far weirder than a monkey

Is it just me, or was Ras Al Ghul the obvious villain for an ancient Japanese Batman movie?
  • @manofsauce5667
Two problems with this video 1. Monkechi makes sense, Damian is known to make friends with animals all the time 2. All of the art style changes are different Japanese art styles in animation.

I feel like you don't actually understand a lot of these characters. The most blatant thing is saying it's out of character for DAMIAN to befriend a random animal?? Bat. Cow. That's literally like one of his main traits 🙃

Are you seriously confused as to why Damien would adopt a monkey. Hes the Robin that got Goliath the bat demon, a bat hound, a house cat named Penny worth, bat cow, and a turkey. Him adopting the monkey is in character.

Red hood in ancient Japan sounds like a good solo comic.

Let me answer your question with another question: Have you SEEN some of the masks from Feudal Era Japan? They're not that far off from Joker's face. Batman was right not to draw the conclusion of the identity of their master. For all he knew, they could've been the palace guards of some local Daimyo. A detective or investigator in that kind of situation explores all possibilities whilst NOT making any conclusions until evidence can be verified, at least that's how real detectives and investigators are trained to operate, and since Batman is the World's Greatest Detective, I'd say he did pretty damn well.

This review just showed how little you know about these characters. Damian is a massive animal lover, it's one of his very few soft spots.

Let's be honest here alfred probably just moved faster than batman and hard-core parkoured into the portal.
  • Infuso, Damian liking animals is consistent with his character. The comic Damian likes animals. He has 4 pets. He has a dog named Titus, a cat named Pennyworth, a cow called Batcow, and a dragon bat creature named Goliath. He's also a vegetarian. Damian likes animals.

This movie was weird as hell. I enjoyed every second of it.
  • @Xylarxcode
Isn't Batman Ninja just... you know... regular Batman? His normal skillset and way of doing things is already pretty ninja like, yea?
  • @stingurameshi
I actually like this movie...... Edit: Red Hood's design is actually based off of a type of samurai warrior in Japan, where their head gear is essentially an elongated basket-
  • Side note: smoke a blunt and this movie transcends and becomes magic. You just might be too jaded, Vee.

This movie is a masterpiece and you can’t change my mind. (I mean that, unironically)
  • @koirrn
Strangest yet best. Finally a movie where the whole Robins crew is together.
  • @garroboman2
Don't wanna be that guy but Damien in the comics has a habit of having a bunch pets that he finds as strays. Look up BatCow or Goliath.
  • @atlas3348
I honestly liked this film. Represented the cultural media pretty well. Plus are you honestly surprised damien got a monkey? Damien adopted a bat cow
  • You can tell he really isn't used to the comic book World his descent into madness is lovely
  • @JRMagro
This movie felt like a fever dream the moment it was announced.. and i loved every single second of it. Possibly one of the best batman animated films made.
