Amazing how in all the admiration dor this journalist, his hero parents, and the wonderful story the WSJ reporters have written, there is not a single word about Biden, his administration, and the numerous European leaders who contributed to the outcome. WSJ have hounded Biden the last few months to resign. The least they could have done is to acknowledge him, but not a word.

  • Trumps best exchange was 3 of ours for 250 of theirs, Biden’s best was 18 of ours and 3 of theirs

This is SO wonderful - and all of these people are heroes and heroines, the prisoners, the families, President Biden, VP Harris, Sec Blinken and all the other wonderful people in our government and the governments of our allies and the journalists who kept these stories in front of us. This speaks to how important it is to have our allies in NATO and a government with people who care and work hard to get things done that need to be done for our people. Thank you to all of them.

Is it time for Americans to take some responsibility for not putting themselves in harm's way, and putting the country in a position to jump through all these hoops to get tjem back. After WW2 millions of people who were lucky enough to escape the Soviet Union had to leave friends and families behind. For decades they were unable to visit them, sometimes even to correspond with them. They didn't even know if they were alive or dead. That a horrible situation, but that's the way it was. No one is entitled to ignore the reality of the world situation, and expect others to save their buts when things fall apart.
