additional context on Jaiden: some time ago she had to make a statement she doesn’t want anyone drawing 18+ art of her/her avatar and weird ppl got mad and created even more to spite her. It’s beyond just her being aroace, it’s her boundaries no matter her identity and her history of being made into 18+ art in the past, she was being harassed. i understand being aroace adds another layer of bad but it’s not the sole reason and it’d still be just as awful if she wasn’t ace. no one deserves such treatment.

"ohhh that makes sense, that makes sense" as response to learning what aroace means was heartwarming, i remember being at pride with my aromantic flag, someone asked what flag that was and i explained it, the look of pity on them will never really leave me. Just accepting and acknowlidging what it is without adding any comment (even a funny one like "daaamn that sucks", "couldnt be me" etc) was just... nice

If she was “just talking about the avatar” and only doing a yassification based on it then why did she pull up an actual picture of her for reference. It makes it hard to tell when she’s criticizing her or the avatar

Also does Kooleen even realize that all of them are animators? The avatar they use most likely have a plain shirts and simple shapes because it's more complicated to animate patterned and complex designs. Especially if they started out as a beginner with little to no knowledge on animating!

The biggest issue with the "she's drawing Jaiden's avatar" argument is that Kooleen literally used a picture of Jaiden as a reference for the tattoo's, which results in Jaiden herself and her avatar blending together in the "yassification" since Kooleen is taking parts of both to make the design. (Which makes the comments even worse, esp since she also knows what Jaiden looks like irl.)

Remember, the only real people you should be openly sexualizing are significant others who consent to it. Having a crush on someone is fine, but don’t go around talking about them sexually unless they’re okay with it.
