Gamer Girl vs Reality

I don't get this "girl gamer". Why there is a need to add gender, you don't have "female readers" or "female drummers" you have bookworms and drummers no one adds gender to that. Adding gender just divides group.

I hate it when my parents say "can't you pause it?" No. As I have said many times before you cannot pause a game when your playing online. sigh To this day they still ask if I can pause it lol

I love gaming, but because im not exactly good. People tell me that im not a gamer. WEELL EXCUSE ME ??? I THOUGHT A GAMER IS SOMEONE WHO PLAY GAMES?! lol

Being a gamer, you really don't need to wear sweater and have a rude attitude.

...Almost no gamers act like that... I'm a gamer. I also have a boyfriend, get good grades (I'm at the top of my class most of the time, with As and Bs), don't get pissy and throw my controller when someone asks me to talk (I might ask them if they could wait a few minutes so I could finish a level or round, if it's not too much trouble for them), don't go SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT when I'm playing a video game, don't get angry at friends for doing poorly in a game (unless they are doing something on my game that hurts my progress or something, such as dying repeatedly in GTA when it's early on and I only have a thousand bucks, then I might help them out of a situation such as being chased by the cops), etc etc. Or am I the only one that acts like a normal human being? :p

Both of these examples are cringey af. There is nothing wrong with being a feminine female. There is nothing wrong with being a feminine female gamer. there is nothing wrong with being a tomboy. There is something wrong with pretending your a tomboy gamer girl, and discriminating everyone who looks like a girl, or acts feminine in a game.
