Making a Flint Striker From a File

Published 2020-11-28
Today I made a flint striker from an old annealed file. This is a great beginner blacksmith project where you can make a functional and decorative tool.

Really good job Ken. Looks like the new and improved flint striker is going to a lot more comfortable for knuckles and fingers. I really enjoy watching you create these items with a very limited amount of tools using items that have been thrown away by others. I hear you on your back pain as I am down with it myself. Going to do some procedures to help my herniated discs that are acting up again. Take care Keep and stay safe. All the best to your mom and family☺🙏
