Fireworks are explosions of numerous small pellets of black powder called stars. The main ingredient in fireworks is black powder, which explodes when ignited (lit on fire). In addition to black powder, firework stars contain different chemicals or metals to create certain colors
Firecrackers are rolled paper tubes filled with black powder (also called gunpowder). They might also be filled with flash paper and a fuse. When you light the fuse of a firecracker, the fire burns along the fuse. Eventually, it reaches the powder.
Black Powder

Invented in ninth-century China, this mix of potassium nitrate, charcoal, and sulfur is what makes fireworks (plus guns and explosives), well, work. In a traditional firework, a lit fuse kicks off the reaction, igniting the powder in the bottom of the shell. As the potassium nitrate burns, it lets off oxygen. The O2 helps the charcoal and sulfur burn too, producing hot gases that hurl the firework into the sky. Seconds later, a delayed fuse reaches the center of the payload, igniting the main shell to unleash a spectacle of light and sound.

Hey boom nice walk through, unfortunately we missed this store when we were out there. It looks like they have a good selection but it also looks like they price everything a little steep. I am sure there are some loyalty programs that make stuff cheaper but for the random person stopping by as the cruise down the highway it can be a little sticker shock. Thanks for the video

Ty for the tour rip off prices but thumbs up

I've heard Alamo carries the Magnus brand products and they have some surprisingly good items. I think I saw a couple of the Venom brand shells. I thought only Outlaw Pyro carried those. In another store tour video of this place I saw a triangle shaped cake called Ministry Of Magic. Seemed Kinda Harry Potter themed. I'd love to get that, but I don't think I saw it in this video. Maybe they're out.

Dang these prices are expensive! I assume this isnt the store in Las Vegas. Those cheap family packs are 100 dollars but they going for 200+? What the....
  • @FePyroMaiden
Did i hear Patrick say "it's no longer Alamo fireworks?" What is it now?
  • @joshrawks21
Yeah that store stinks! Smoke n Mirrors 200 bucks? And thats with 20% off everything? I got some for $100 in Las Vegas.
  • @asdfasdf-zt8vz
you can get the same prices off the street for exponentially better products... no point in going to Pahrump..330 for a 500g comet cake... a complete scam to even offer those cakes
  • @ricowade463
I love the layout of the store and different firework brands! Just to damn expensive!
