In today’s video, I find axolotls living in a sewer and my goal is to catch as many as possible! First, I send a GoPro into the sewer to see if I can get any footage of whatever is down there! I ended up finding clown knife fish, pike cichlids, axolotls, and TONS of mysterious fish… And now that we know what’s down there, I started netting to try and catch them out! I caught Oscar’s, catfish, colorful crawfish, knife fish, and MORE! And after awhile I finally caught my first axolotl in the sewer! But we know there’s more in there so we kept going… We caught more rare fish including a monster jaguar cichlid and more alien fish! After more netting we managed to catch 1 more axolotl before the sewers became too murky to keep going… So we decided to place 2 fish traps and leave them there overnight! We brought back all the fish we caught so far to my backyard ponds and fish tanks and came back later that night! When we checked our fish traps we found TONS of fish inside including, pufferfish, more axolotls, bichirs, catfish, AND MORE! In total we caught 6 axolotls which I put in my backyard pond! Should we go back and do a part 2 at this sewer?

  • Tiger Salamander larvae are often used as fishing bait and are more commonly known as Western Waterdogs which are sold in bait shops🎣🦎 Although they're very similar in many ways, Waterdogs are different from Axolotls and Mudpuppies because they go through metamorphosis.

I wish I could be as excited about literally anything as much as you are about fish.
  • Why were the axolotls so cute 😭😭😭 btw yes I liked my own comment Hate to b that person…. But thanks for the likes!!
  • I’ve only just recently found you on YouTube. I have to say your energy and enthusiasm is out of this world. I love it when you get so excited when you find fish 😂. Keep doing what you do and more importantly keep being you. You are a joy to watch. ❤️👍🏼🇬🇧
  • Nice work once again Bobby. Here's the names for some of the fish you had trouble identifying. Netting: - The mystery knife fish you caught is an Elephant-Nose Knife Fish. - The suspected flounder is a Freshwater Flounder - The eel-like fish that stuck to the sewer wall is a type of Loach, there are multiple different kinds. Traps: - Questionable puffer/flounder is a Freshwater Puffer Fish.

Axolotls are technically a species of mole salamanders closely related to Tiger salamanders. They are in the same genus, but axolotls live in a larval state their entire lives. It's why they are able to regrow their limbs.
  • Bobby you are such an inspiration. You are working so hard with all the vids you make, remember to enjoy, have fun. You are an incredible person, you’ve taught this old lady a lot!❤cat
  • @JabetFishing
the beauty of nature, various types of fish, extraordinary.
  • The first one looks something like an elephant nose/eel-don’t know. The other are freshwater flounders(they love good cover in the fish tank/pond. Sending the go-pro down to investigate was a great idea! You need to do that in other sewers(without alligators!). You can sew those nets with fishing line, I’ve done that and it works good! Another fantastic video Bobby and Helen! AMAZING CATCHES! You need to go back and do this sewer again! Kudos
  • Helen love you lots and bobby too 💗💗💗 you are an amazing couple 💖
