  • If I remember correctly, you can also load older computer cores like the Amiga Computer, Commodore 64, Apple II, Atari ST, 386,486, and tons more.

Thanks for the hands on with this. A dream of mine was always to own an "original" street fighter 2 arcade but it just seems so impractical for a casual like me. But on the flip side, I don't want to go the Arcade 1up route, it just seems a bit too compromised. A mister FPGA though does seem like the perfect compromise. I'd love to see a video building an entire psuedo-original arcade cabinet around it

First I thought it is a re-upload, than I figured out it's a new video😍 Thanks for sharing, it is funny to see the inner child in your eyes when you're playing the old console games 💛 I bet, I do look the same way when I play these old retro classics 😂
  • As per usual, a really informative video, great work Ralph 👊🏼 🔥

The MiSTer is literally the greatest advancement of arcade/console gaming preservation in modern history. Having access to almost limitless games and multiple cores without the worry of compliance of video cables, upscaling, hardware deterioration, etc.. makes this a no-brainer for those who can get one setup. I've heard it looks better on a modern television than a CRT but I believe that's subjective. I have mine on a CRT and it's phenomenal. Great video Ralph!
  • Yeah this is an awesome video buddy. Love how you made it into a semi vlog style going to the store to buy controllers.
  • @Evercade_Effect
Fantastic video, my friend.I really liked the editing and footage. I had heard about the SNACK adaptor but never saw it in action 🔥👍😀😃💯

You sold me at FPGA I am very stoked for the future of this technology because the ability to archive my original files and all that and just move it to whatever I want and build my dream home arcade this makes me stoked! Where do I get one!
  • @khatru311
This is the future. If you had one of these running in each dedicated machine, you probably wouldn't notice the difference. Nice video man.
  • @itsmrotaku
Can't wait to see a series of you working on a Candy Cab!
  • @blackvulcan3
Awesome Ralph. I was late to the party on MiSTer and only got it a month ago. It’s so cool. Now if my Nova Blast would hurry up and arrive it would have a home.
  • @ScottParisi
Very cool device. Aside from the Dynamo cabinet, do you have a complete bill of materials for your setup? Also, did you say you were running Unico in the cabinet or traditional CRT? Thank you
  • @RLeeErmy
This was pretty awesome. Thanks for the video!
  • @retror.d.1630
I just got one of these Mistercade and I love it! I sold most of my expensive Neo Geo games and boards since I get the same experience from the Mistercade
  • @flottenheimer
The MiSTer is the best gaming device I’ve ever owned. I play it mainly for the arcade cores. And a few of the consoles now and then. Such a brilliant device.
  • @mian2170
Nice information!!! Cool!!! With something like that, it would be nice to have a cabinet that rotates the screen with a button or that detects what type of game it is to play horizontally or vertically. It would be nice to have a video with that mode in an arcade cabinet...

Taki was showing off his new Mister clone, and will start at $99. Exciting time to be a gamer for sure!
  • @cMARVEL360
Dude now that I have the Analogue Products; rom the Mega Sg, Super Nt and the Pocket. I now know first hand just how amazing FPGA Gaming is. But it was your video that really has me looking so hard at a Mister! I really want one to stick in to a cab, be it a Gutted A1UP, a Nova Blast or something. Thanks for covering this Big Ralph! 🍻
