Team USA basketball was supposed to be way better than this in the 2024 Olympics in Paris...

french people don't care that embiid is playing for the US, he lives there he can play for them it's fine. The reason they're mad is he literally begged the french president for a passport, promising that he would come play for france once he got a passport, and as soon as he got it, ghosted the french team and chose to go play for US.
  • Joel Embid trying to work the refs for fouls is his bread-n-butter. Unfortunately, it doesn't work anywhere outside the NBA.

I love how everyone is like LeBron is the best player he should be getting all of the touches but then when he does you guys dog on the other players😂

We are so hypercritical about NBA players playing in the FIBA W.C. and during the Olympics… Meanwhile every player that has played over seas has laughed at how easy it is to get fouls in the NBA in comparison to FIBA… This is why Team USA fails to be dominant!

crazy, instead of giving props and credit to the other countries, most of yall are blaming the team for a questionable competence while still having the arrogance and dismissive attitude in the back of yall minds towards the other team. the fact that mfs betting a 40 pts blowout against South Sudan shows how much yall been so bent inwardly and further proves what Noah Lyles stated back then. It's not just the organizations, but really it's down to each and every individual. whacc ahh pot

Nobody plays their hardest in practice games, NBA players have become so lazy. They only play when it really matters. When the Olympics officially start their basketball games, the USA is gonna win every game because that’s the only time the players care about playing hard is when people are watching and it’s for a trophy or a playoff or something like that. Play is getting the most money ever have turned into the laziest players ever, nobody wants to play defense anymore.
  • NBA players don’t play defense anymore. The Dream Team played 90’s NBA defense against inferior talent. The NBA is watered down and this shows that any semi professional can play in the league nowadays.
  • Honestly let’s not overreact let’s wait for the first few actual games😂

USA ain’t losing to no one. The competition around the world is bigger now that’s all.

I have said it months ago, The current roster are filled with aging stars, chokers, injury prone, and role players. Lebron 39, Steph 36, KD 35. D book, Joel, Tatum all disappears in big moments. AD, Kawhi injury prone which kawhi already pulled out. The rest are just role players. You look at 1992, 1996 roster, all are LEGEND in their prime. 2008, 2012 have a lot of legends in their prime, with a few pieces to fit. I mean..... beating teams by single digit this year does not scream domination to me. the 1992 team??? Oh they just beat every single team by at least 40, thats all. How can this years team compare to the team mentioned? If Lebron, Steph, KD all minus 10 years in age, then yes, this is a crazy team. The US team will still win because of the depth, but its not one of the top ever assembled team in US basketball.

Team USA is all politics... the fact they chose Derek White over Jalen Brown to fill that open spot says it all! And I would argue the same is true on the women's side and that UCONN connection...
  • @mumenraidaa
You forgot to mention that 1992 dream team played against only 9 NBA players on their opposing teams. No wonder they were dominating other countries.
  • @moi-.-bicxo
Without Jrue, I don't know what will hapen to team USA.

Joel is hated because he hinted at playing for France, he even sent a letter to the french president asking him. once they got him the passport he changed his mind. He only wanted dual passport. And Cameroon team wanted him to pay to play for his country.
  • @KingMutant741
The 1992 Olympic team literally only played against 6 other NBA players during their run…in 2024 every single team has multiple NBA stars…can we please use a little bit of common sense or am I asking too much😂
  • @JKLauderdale
We hear this every 4yrs. At the end of the day, you can't just throw talented players together and expect them to play at even 90% efficiency when looking at a global level. They NEED 3months of weekly practice, scrimmages against a viable "B Team" practice squad in order to get their sh1t together. Following that, if "Team" USA wants any sorta consistency, then they should follow through into FIBA. As it stands, this isn't a TEAM, it's a fkn pickup game on a global market.

Let’s forget about 1992 Dream Team…. Basketball wasn’t even that big 30 years ago!!!! There are a lot more kids all over the world playing basketball nowadays!!! The world has caught up a bit!!! But we still should win every game!!
  • Team USA has ‘won’ every game. Let’s not be prisoners of something that’s not even there in the first place
  • @charlitto317
The world is nice now, the world sucked back in the day. Nowadays the best players in the league aren't American born, so obviously the USA isn't dominating
