I loved that, despite normal all star game conventions, TeamUSA had Clark in a full court press for the entirety of the game and she still got past the defender(s) and smoked them with her dimes. So cool.

Team USA’s biggest weakness is they have no to weak point guard play. Putting Caitlin on the team seems obvious. Putting someone on who plays harder than anyone else seems obvious too.

Everyone had a great all Star game except team USA. The WNBA team was smiling and having fun while roasting them. Everyone on the WNBA team had a great game. Mitchell had a buzzer beating shot. New fans fell in love with Arike. Now Arike has more fans and people are waiting for the break to end to watch the playoffs.
  • Caitlin Clark definitely has earned the respect due, a 3 point bombing, super dime dishing, basketball court general! BEHOLD, WITNESS THE AWESOME POWER OF THE CAITLIN CLARK AFFECT!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤

Here are her stats depending on days rest. So I feel this break will be great for her in getting her legs back under her shot. 0 days 5.5P/6A/3.5R/17%FG in 2G 1 day 16.2P/8.3A/5.8R/40%FG in 12G 2 day 18.1P/8.6A/6.3R/44%FG in 7G 3 day 23.3P/9.8A/7.8R/47%FG in 4G

Someone needs to ask Cheryl Reeves why she dislikes or hates CC so much. If she is USA coach in 28, CC will get snubbed or little playing time.

Reese and Clark finally had a common goal. With players on their team that are great. And they played it perfect. Shame on those haters
  • @alfaromeoboosted
Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese will lead the ReDeem Team in 4 years. This USA team will fall short
  • Its a shame Ryan roucco doesn't do all the fever games. He just really fun and adds to the funof the game
  • @A.J.Schreiber
Was great to watch everyone gel and bond as a group. Seemed like everyone really had a great time.

Janquel Jones was like WTF!!😂 Nneka and reese were also going nuts on the bench... Arike was like game recognize game and as usual CC did CC things by complementing them
  • @Zakarman43
Yeah I agree we're past that point. They've accepted her as an equal. Strangely enough, all this nonsense ended where it started, with Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury. Her public acceptance of Caitlin was seismic.
  • @JudyGurl
Enjoy those flowers, CC. You've earned them.

Here's the deal and it might be the most important fact out of all of this. Caitlin is inspiring the young generation of girl basketball players who see with their own eyes the impact that a true point guard can have with her passing ability and I guarantee, over the next decade, girls and women will be emulating Caitlin's passing!
  • Caitlin is absolutely amazing! I am not talking about her game right now. I am talking about the fact that no matter what is hurled negatively in her direction, she responds by building bridges. NO MATTER WHAT. She is better than I am in that respect, and I have the trash talking resume to look back on. 😷😎 But also, lol, she knows how to needle greats. She told A’Ja Wilson when they were sitting together at the skills competition, with a smile on her face that team WNBA was going to destroy them. Then during the All Star game she asked who had the assist record, while she was standing next to Sue Bird, that it was her, (she knew 😎), so she then said she was going to break it, lol. She said later she changed her mind, and said maybe next time. CC knows who she is… ☑️👌😎🤣 JP

The inevitable has happened finally. I knew it was only a matter of time till the narrative-pushing media and fanbase fizzled out and the true basketball fans remained. It's too exhausting to keep up forever. There will always be some of it, but the tide is finally calming and as the tide calms, everyone in the W can ease up because they are not getting as constantly blasted with it all. Ever since the Mercury Fever game, we've really seen the best of the W come out. Everyone is relaxing into it now and this All-Star game was everything I could have hoped for. Good vibes, so much respect, fun, good basketball, and professional competition. We're getting there friends.

I think ppl just need to see CC for themselves. The fans, media etc made a lot of players feel threatened or think CC had a certain personality but when ur up close u just see the talent and her desire to compete. You usually see players treat her differently after playing against her

Watching Team USA play the WNBA all stars I felt like if these teams were divided up right before the actual game, the WNBA all stars were given all of the guards. Front court was pretty even but man Team USA leans heavy on Stewart and Wilson. I’ve always felt the old versus new storyline is more compelling than the CC v AR storyline (which I think gets overblown) and this game kind of showed it.
