  • Never let this song die. This was Taylor's favourite Foo's song, and he will be remembered with the spirit and the energy that he puts in every song, especially this one. Miss you Taylor

Was at the Melbourne concert 4/12/23 and after Dave explained this song was a tribute too Taylor by mentioning how everytime a bird flys over it’s a sign, a whole flock of birds flew over the stadium as the song begun and Dave almost missed his line as he watched them. Was such perfect timing, massive shoutout to the seagull population of Melbourne.

One of the most lovely songs ever written. "I just kind of died for you. You just kind of stared at me." Dave Grohl never ceases to amaze.

My name's Aurora and I discovered this song like two days ago but I love it 💖

Honestly, Dave has a beautiful voice. Really underrated. One of the best voices rock has ever had, for me.
  • I listened to this album when I was in ICU for a week back in July, 2007. I can honestly say that it helped me fight to live.

Taylor Hawkins said, in Rolling Stone interview that was just released, that this was his favorite Foo song. From the article: So yeah. And that song we played yesterday, “Aurora,” which is one of my favorite songs that we’ve ever recorded in my life —
  • My favorite Foo Fighters song. Takes me to a special place and time.

I miss Taylor. The smile, the voice, the energy, the energy of a sunny SoCal day, the tempo (because it's whatever he says it is), the life energy visible in his playing. See you on the other side, Taylor. ❤

You believe there's something else To relieve your emptiness And you dream about yourself And you bleed and breath the air And its on and on and on and on and on I just kinda died for you You just kinda stared at me We will always have the chance We can do this one more time Hell yeah, I remember aurora Hell yeah, I remember aurora All this time Hell yeah, I remember aurora Take me now You spin the sun around And the stars will all come out Then we turn and come back down Turn and come back down You believe there's somewhere else Where it's easier than this And you see outside yourself And you buy the hole you'll fill And it's on and on and on and on and on Hell yeah, I remember aurora Hell yeah, I remember aurora All this time Hell yeah, I remember aurora Take me now You spin the sun around And the stars will all come out Then we turn and come back down Turn and come back down On and on and on aurora Wait for everyone Wait till the last one's done Take me now You spin the sun around And the stars will all come out Then we turn and come back down Turn and come back down Turn and come back down On and on and on and on...
