seemed pretty good to me! I tried for a while, but didn't get anywhere at all. On the other hand, I was trying to solve it by sketching on paper, which was pretty annoying

Hi Fayola, sorry to say, your solution is not the right one... Just like with Martin's solution, when you make a cylinder with it, it is possible to cut the cylinder open again above the red and blue piece in your solution (at 0:32), then you get the shape the shown solutions fit in. Your solution equals my solution number 2, mirrored. Good luck continuing the search! Edo
