Welcome back! I get a little deep in this video since I am talking about depression and my experience with it postpartum. I got a lot done while my husband was at work but that isn't always how it goes. You've seen a few of my bad days so far so I thought I'd show you a good one! Thank you for being here and hanging out with me! 🩷

  • Aw your little daughter helping out, tidying away and wiping the chair was just so cute. The fact that she wants to be like mummy proves you are doing a brilliant job keeping house and bring a mum. X

Hi Rosie! Watching from Australia 😊. I'm a mum who's a little way ahead of you, with a teen and preteen. You are doing so well taking small steps to get things just that bit better. It's really really tough when you have toddlers running right behind you pulling things out and straight back into the floor, I can see your son is right at that adventurous age and it is so tricky!! If I could give you just a little advice it would be to take one day to tag team with your hubby/mum and get completely on top of the laundry (washed, dried and put away). And then another day to get completely on top of the dishes. Right now it would be difficult for you to declutter because you keep on having to use more items while others are sitting unwashed. And once that is done, make some rules with the other adults in the house about daily habits regarding dishes and laundry so you can all work together to make life easier. I really feel that would be revolutionary for you. I also work as a therapist, often with women with ADHD, and sometimes my clients and I have a little giggle about how we have to tell our inner tantruming child (eg the I HATE DOING DISHES! voice) to let the adult have a turn (It's ok, doing dishes is part of my life, if I keep it up it won't take long). That's a long ramble but all of it mostly to say I'm cheering you on from here!

This was me 10 years ago deep in the trenches of young motherhood. This is only a suggestion as I was where you were. I found minimal mom on YouTube around that time, I had too much stuff so it felt like I was drowning! It took me months but after I decluttered my house I felt less stress and I felt more present as a mom. Hugs mama ❤ You got this!!!
  • You can’t help but be impacted by the odd negative content, but you know enough to brush it off. Block those nasties! This is your channel, you can do whatever you want. I love your videos, and I’ll be watching every one.❤❤
  • Oh sweet girl! You are navigating motherhood amazingly! As a mother of 3 that were only 13 and 11 months apart I definitely know your struggles. My little tidbit of advice is find a routine, you mentioned in one of your videos to pack your husbands lunch when your cooking supper… excellent. Also with a small home it seems to get out of control easier…. Storage is key, look up on your walls and see if there is a way to utilize that area with hanging shelves or cabinets. I pray you find YOUR rhythm and happiness! Hugs to you and your sweet babies!

You are not alone, and the fact that you knew you needed help is HUGE because our minds fight that so much and trick us into thinking negative about ourselves and that others will think the same. I too have struggled with depression and anxiety for years and I just want to say thank you for being so open because it shows me that I’m not alone! You got this girl!!!! ❤
  • You are a doll. You remind me of me, I had 2 small kids very young and had postpartum. 50 years later a still feel very off and weird. I have been on medication this whole time. Now as a grandmother it is still very hard to function day to day, but I do. I work partime, babysit my grandkids partime and manage. I always put my kids and grandkids before me. This may be a problem. But they fill me up with love and pride. Hang in there don't let dumb people bring you down. Your right this is your channel and not everyone has to watch, block them if you have to.

Please never stop posting! Your content is amazing in so many aspects, but the most important is your transparency and vulnerability ❤

Rosie you got this! I can see the improvement you have done and I understand what you have been going through as I’m 66 years old and still struggling with depression most of my life. The medication sure help but only so much. Praying for you and your family!

Hi Rosie I am so proud of you for your positive thinking you will get things done just keep positive thoughts don't let negative comments bother you some people have nothing better to do. Take one room a day and you will get there. Bless You !!!!!!
  • I'm supposed to be recording my own voiceover right now but then I noticed your video had posted and chose to use the quiet time to watch you instead 😂 Thank you so much for sharing the reality of postpartum depression, I haven't gone through it personally but know people who have so it's enlightening to hear how it feels. I'm glad you're getting help now and you have a supportive partner and mum to help you. Ignore negative comments (I know how hard that is to do 😂) you're doing amazing. I loved the part when you told us to look in the mirror and tell ourselves something nice ❤ x

Thank you for being so open and honest about your postpartum depression. I'm glad that you fought through the worst of it and made it out on top. You are doing a great job! I remember those dark days of feeling like my kids would be better off without me and I'm so grateful that I made it through to enjoy my kids growing up to adulthood.

  • There are always negative people, all we can do is to ignore them. Never apologise yourself, your home or your way of living. You’re doing your best and that’s fantastic- and much more many ppl do. Just be yourself, we love you as you are ❤ Thanks for another motivating video! 🌸
  • You are so amasing, my mom always told me "You are beautyfull, You are capable, You ça accomplish and You can do this!!!" xx
  • @OliviaLofton
I love that you are doing some self care. Much needed after caring for little ones all day.
  • You are so special. Thanks for sharing ❤ My own advice for new moms is: Your babies will only be small for a very short time. Try to enjoy it. The house work will always be there! ❤
  • @lilnativeaimee

Remember, don’t be afraid or ashamed to ask for help, we all need help sometimes! I’m so proud of you and am always in awe of the great job you’re doing! You’re an awesome mom! I love you!!! ❤
