I could never stress this enough, your entire team is doing AMAZING work, these are the kinds of developments that we will look upon in 100, 1000years from now and recognize as the turning point of Space history. Never give up!

John C. Maxwell,: “Fail early, fail often, but always fail forward”. I like how this test article failed close to when it was predicted, and more importantly close to the plate. Looks to me like there will be lessons to be learned from the details. A useful, as well as a beautiful failure!

5:04 The slow motion footage of the shrapnel blasting through that blue tarp is incredible. ❤

The burst footage is amazing! Well done Sierra Space!
-
I was present at the test, and I can say it was spectacular! Job well done to the Sierra team!
-
It's nice to see this project taking shape and that I played a small part in it.

You guys ought' to reach out to the developers of Kerbal Space Program 2. They're looking for more information on theoretical parts like the LIFE unit you're working on. It may just be a videogame, but it's a gateway to a life of space as a hobby and career.

Cool stuff. Wish I was a young engineer today.

You guys at Sierra Space are totally amazing in your work ethics and goals. And to that endeavour, you are the true future of space habitation, either in space or the surface of any planet or satellite. GO GO GO Sierra Space, leaders in this technology. 👏👏👏👏🙌😎

Incredible job by an incredible team! We are Building platform in Space to benefit LIFE on Earth!
-
Amazing! New frontier for composite materials in space.

As a redwire shareholder im very excited to see these go up and fill them with our 3d bioprinters :) GO SIERRA AND GO REDWIRE!

I watched some of your videos in the past, and LITERALLY started dreaming about them at night. I would have these visions of myself in space in the habitat and it was just absurd. Sometimes I don't even want to wake up.

What a BLAST, insane innovation.
-
Wow, that test and the team are pushing the envelope of space technology. Well done Sierra Space!

How does it hold to radiation and quick temperature drops and increases this is what needs to be shown. Stronger than steel but can it withstand the harsh environments. Best of luck ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Sierra Space for everything that you do to make humanity interstellar!

At 4:10, Gerard Valle says "Where we have the blanking plate and you're integrating with this theoretically infinitely stiff structure into your soft goods..." In an early XCOR rocket engine design, we had a braze joint fail from thermal strain. We added an s-curve machined into the critical part that could flex under the strain and reduce the peak stress on the part. A similarly compliant structure on your blanking plate can do impedance matching between the soft and hard goods.

Congratulations! Very excited to see your continued progress

Fantastic technology! I hope these habitats will be in orbit soon!
