    1. Practice meditation. Objectively observe the mind. (Learn the structure of your web of thoughts, then choose which path to go down. 2. Restrain your mental intake. Carefully feed your mind with selected input. Choose what you feed your mind!

"I no longer believe everything I think."
  • I’ve shut down my Facebook and Instagram account 4 years ago and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I have no other social media, although I do watch a lot of YouTube videos. Mostly about mental health, anxiety, wisdom etc. Thanks for a very good speech.

The eye opening conclusion was “ It’s not the harsh, traumatic, or horrible events themselves you should fear the most in life but, your own unwillingness to control your reaction to those events. Ultimately, it’s your capacity to take full responsibility for your own thoughts that will dictate the course and growth of not just you but our entire World.

I gotta say I needed this... I've started having a lot of bad thoughts recently thats been effecting my overall health. Been a struggle holding myself together and focusing, so I started meditation again today and its already starting to help. And i've deactivated Facebook, its such a terrifying tool! I miss the old days of meeting up with my pals and having to ring land lines and knock doors to see them!

He says nothing new, but his way of speaking is magnetic. One of the best Ted Talks I've ever watched.
  • What a brilliant presentation! I completely forgot about my surroundings while listening to the speech. Thank you Mr. Hobohm. Great speech indeed.

“Now please reflect on the stories that I’ve told, which are yours. And decide what you want to do with them. Because it’s not the harsh, traumatic or horrible events themselves that you should fear the most in life, but your own unwillingness to control your reaction to those events. Ultimately it’s your capacity to take full responsibility for your thoughts that will dictate the course and growth of not just you but our entire world.” - Albert Hobohm Wow…what a conclusive statement. Thank you for the advice good sir.

Not only an eye-opening speech, but also wonderfully well conveyed. I've just started meditation two weeks ago but the spark of something new is igniting inside of me. I hope that as many people as possible watch this excellent Talk. Thank you very much.
