That first break is what we were all waiting for in the return of John!
  • When I was listening to the song for the first time this morning, I was hoping you make a tutorial soon. But you exceed expectations! Thanks for your excellent work!
  • @VavelPL
man you are as fast with these tutorials as john's shredding on dani california
  • @jd0879
How you learnt it this fast, tabbed out a chart, filmed a video, edited same video is 11/10 impressive
  • @RastisVI
Short lessons with full content without unnecessary words! Well thank you!
  • @stuartjones1425
1,000 new tutorials overnight for this song, but this one's all we need!

You absolute legend for this. Your lessons are always so good. Well layed out, great tempo and tone that do help make it easier for people (or at least me) to learn. So much love and respect for everything you do.

that break is such a signature john sound it's so recognizable, damn!! I bet Nikola isn't gonna enjoy these new songs to the full extent cause he has to learn them to please the audience lol
  • The solo gives me chills everytime I hear it played, man I'm happy these guys are coming back strong

I remembered the school days when in the 10th grade I had a bassist classmate and we gathered at my place in the summer, jammed and studied rhcp albums from your lessons, thanks for these wonderful lessons and memories Nikola Frusciante is a guitarist who motivated me to learn how to play the guitar and when I was learning his songs I kind of adopted his energy, it's just hard to describe to people who don't play but I think you get the idea
  • Today I have completed learning all parts & now can continue with polishing. A small tip to those who want to practice this song but doesn't want to change the tuning of their guitar: The only time you use an open string is in the intro, to play Eb on the bass E string. Instead you can play this note on 5th string (6th fret). For everything else, just shift them to an upper fret & you can play the song in it's original tone without re-tuning your guitar a half step down.

You can really tell how this was all put together in rehearsals. John starts, flea joins, Anthony dances and Chad grooves

At one point when first heard this. I immediately recognised the hendrixisms and wondered if the guitar was tuned down a half step. Then suddenly this pops into my feed. Thank you so much I know what I'm learning this weekend
  • @CoolCatChristi
That was incredibly fast. Just wow. Thank you so much for the tabs!
  • So much easier to play along to original Recording after jamming along with your tutorials, and accuracy of all songs makes it an easy path to really see tangible progress.

This is why you are literally the best teacher on YouTube, I had complete faith you would have a video out in no time!!!
  • @ElBerto_
Great timing. Was just going to search for a lesson on h2 play and this drops. Sweet!! :)
  • @joebro77
So great and so well played and arranged by you! Especially how you split the sections is actually very helpful to learn it, right balance between tab size and sequencing without totally interrupting the flow or cramping too many bars onto one screen. Thanks a ton!
