Final Thoughts: I would give the MSC Seashore a SAIL-ish rating. Overall, the cruise offers a lot of enjoyable amenities and activities. However, one aspect to consider is that room cleanliness can be hit or miss, with some guests experiencing issues. To enhance your experience, I recommend sailing in the Yacht Club, where you are more likely to receive top-notch service and accommodations. Additionally, utilizing the specialty dining package can significantly improve your culinary experience, offering a range of high-quality dining options that are well worth the investment. Otherwise, you can also roll the dice on a cheaper cabin, but you know what they say…you get what you pay for! Happy sailing!

Thanks for the positive comments about your cruise. I have loved my trips on Seashore, Meraviglia, Divina and Seascape. If you are after gourmet food have to do specialty dining or yacht club. Never had dirty cabin, in fact always clean room several times a day. There is a special light you can use at door that lets steward know from hallway that you want service. A lot of people are not aware it is there. Only disappoints are internet wifi of any kind questionable and breakfast delivery sometimes late and not correct. Between the disco ball ambiance, the pizza and the renovated island i am a believer.
  • We have sailed the Meraviglia, Seaside and Seashore and have loved them all.Going back for 11 day cruise on the Seashore September 1.

I just wanted to send a 👍 for this content / format. I thought it was informative. A visual scorecard on the screen would be a nice addition.
  • Alyssa, I loved your honest review, and this video was done so well. I loved the layout and having the conclusion video to finish that sailing. I have really been contemplating trying new cruise lines, as we have only ever cruised Royal. I am really looking forward to the Carnival Cruise Vlog. I have a friend that's a die hard Carnie and I'm loyal to royal, so I'm can't wait to see yours and Cullen's review! Don't let the negative comments get you down, you guys are killing it! ❤
  • Hey Alyssa. Have experienced elevator doors closing quickly which can be rough for scooters to navigate quickly or Mobility challenged slower moving folks like myself. Luckily on the Seascape ,!the Aurea designated MDR food was always hot to my surprise after hearing so many reviews and seasoned. Luckily no cabin issues. Good shows and themed nights seem to be good. I’m wondering would guest services house towels to hand out? I’ve heard other cruise creators commend the kids camp. And I thought their pirates cove for kids was amazing. Good point. Their prices are good but nickel and dime elsewhere. One thing I’ll say. We are not WiFi folks but now get basic when on group cruises. MSC basic WiFi let me get on Facebook, IG, TikTok and YouTube. But on Celebrity Edge with basic, only facebook and IG opened. Only folks with premium got all 4. Thanks for sharing 🤗

Just cruised 7/28-8/1 had a wonderful time Rev Dr E kept the party going day and night food wasnt great but Buffet and Central Park was very good elevators definitely a problem got a lot of exercise on steps overall great experience
  • @TravelingLois
Great job Alyssa! My husband and I are MSC fans having been on 10 different cruises with 6 different ships (Seaside, Seascape, Seashore, Armonia, Meraviglia x2 and Divina x 4) all balcony cabins except one time in Yacht Club). Yours and Cullen's reviews of the Seashore are spot on in my opinion. All of the MSC ship experiences that my husband and I had seem to be similar to your description of Seashore. In other words, the ships are the same or very similar. Keep up these great reviews (and we LOVE seeing Noah...cutest baby ever!!!)
  • I appreciate your review on your family exprience. I still not sold on this cruise line. I'm beyond middle age and I cannot tell you how many times during a day on 7-14 day cruises I found myself running down or walking up stairs to and from my cabin. Slow elevators are common amongst cruise lines. These days I only travel on NCL and Virgin and they do not have destination elevators. On my last cruise I was on a high deck and I too could see on to the balconies on many guest below-- interesting but not a pretty site. However, folks garbage landing on your balcony is so very not cool. I typically in the gym as we cruise into port so I can just see the beauty of the destination port.
  • Great review! I'm allergic to chocolate so the Ice cream review would 100% affect me. I cruised on MSC in June and I broke out because of the breads. I didn't realize until the 5th day that the breads were being cross-contaminated with chocolate croissants, muffins etc. I then had to ask to get bread from another batch that was not touching any chocolate but it took me a long time to explain and then eventually spoke with the head waiter for them to understand why.
  • u have to go back now just to make a video of yall digging and placing ur umbrella and then digging it back up, dragging it across the beach. 🤣🤣
  • @michelleb749
Great job. I think some people who are saying you are too critical are missing the point of the video and series. This isnt just a straight review but also an evaluation of the Cruise Critic reviews of the ship.
  • @jessigirlrae1688
I went on Seascape last summer after all the bad reviews and man was I surprised. We LOVED it. My teens also super loved it. I asked about it compared to Royal and they said they liked both for different reasons. It was sooo clean too! Someone was always cleaning! But the thermal spa for the win!!! Worth the money!
  • @amyshaw4423
We did not have the same experience as you with the umbrellas. We put our things on a set chairs with an umbrella, and a staff member came up to us to ask if we wanted to “rent” the umbrella. We said no and moved our things. SO it depends where on Ocean Cay you are to whether you have to carry the umbrella or not.
  • @raymondhuard
I'm on Meraviglia at this moment. I paid $1400 to cruise for a week (including my wife). I've adjusted my expectations from sailing with NCL. This is my second time on this ship, and it's amazing. You're paying for the Ramada but expecting the Hilton. This is the most amazing, beautiful ship for the money. All your video thumbnails show you looking unhappy, I'm not sure there's anyway to please you. Good Luck.
  • I think it is important to match the cost of MSC cruises with the expectations. If I received MSC quality food/experience on Celebrity, then there is a problem. For sailings commonly less than Carnivals older ships, the MSC experience probably matches its price. As long as people know that going in, I am sure it would rate more fairly online.
  • @paular601
OK, me again let’s talk about that balcony when we were on that same ship we stayed one deck above one of those balconies and it was filthy and full of bird crap and other peoples trash. The chairs were all over the place and never arranged. It was horrible. The whole experience was a nightmare, but those balconies there is no way I would pay extra for that and have been happy.
  • im going on my very first cruise in november thru Norwegian....i am a tad nervous tho as i struggle at times with IBS and im curious what the initial "checkin" on boarding process is like as well as the final de-boarding. Does it go pretty quick or are you standing in lines outside the ship for 45+ minutes waiting to get on board? Do they provide bathroom access any way while you are standing in lines?
  • @joshblevins7609
We ⛵️ on the Seaside 1 year ago this week. I will probably never sail with msc again. Nickel and dime you to death, food was bland, NO ICE at buffet, and overall rude staff. We were excited about getting off the boat, and that has never happened...
  • @paular601
OK, me again i’m gonna go back to the cabin again and the cabin steward. We never saw him or her. We have no idea who it was never once laid eyes on them. I think they came in and threw the covers over the bed and changed out the towels, which were never dry, have I mentioned that I thought this was a horrible experience lol
