When one or two companies pretty much control the entire IT side of businesses isn’t that a monopoly????

This is a warning (which will be ignored) on how dependent and vulnerable we are on tech
  • As someone who worked at the ports this is nothing new I’ve waited 4-5 hours in line some days even worse

We are far too dependent on computer technology. Even our food depends on these systems. Imagine a metro area like LA(13 million) not being able to supply enough food because of a tech disruption.

The software updates are pretty irritating. My computer shuts down automatically, once a month or so, for the endless updates. My software works just fine, leave it alone

Well this is what we get when companies monopolize and each business gets hit

Our government should have looked at all software for IT and decentralize all of it as much as possible. This is ridiculous.

I will never do cents per mile ever again. Hourly only. Too many setbacks in trucking, like every other day. Repairs, waiting in lines , miscommunications. Got old after 4 months OTR

This is sad that nobody plans a backup

Anything that makes it easier, makes it easier to hack.

Perhaps all the companies should sue the security company that did this.

We need to stop depending on computers. Let’s go old school.
  • What happened when they do not make their own servers, this is what happened with the cloud.
