Speaking at an energy conference in Moscow, Mr Putin said: "Nobody explained to Greta that the modern world is complicated and complex."
Ms Thunberg, 16, gave a speech at the United Nations in New York in September as millions of people joined climate strike protests worldwide.

I wouldn't say he is "criticising" her, he is simply pointing out that not everything is as simple as she thinks and cannot be solved as easily... In this case Putin is completely correct

Greta Thumberg is the example of how we live in a foolish time frame where a problematic little girl speak to the UN and high podium speaking like a scientist. Shame on her parent that have been using her for years.
