Retired Gen. Frank McKenzie, the former commander of U.S. Central Command, predicted on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan" Sunday that Lebanese Hezbollah could soon be involved in the border conflict with Israel. "I think we are hours, maybe days — not weeks — away from Lebanese Hezbollah entering this fight." largest non-state military entity in the world," McKenzie told Brennan. Tensions have been rising in the Middle East, where fears of an expanding regional war have been growing a week after Israel killed a top Hamas leader in Iran and two Hezbollah commanders.

"Face the Nation" is America's premier Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having debuted Nov. 7, 1954, on CBS. Every Sunday, "Face the Nation" moderator and CBS News senior foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan welcomes leaders, newsmakers, and experts to a lively round table discussion of current events and the latest news.

  • "Iranian incompetence", keep telling yourselves that, geniuses. The 48 hour heads up was the defining factor in April.
  • @DurgaDas96
Is this guest a spokesman for Israeli Army? Sounds like basic misinformation.
  • Israel is responsible of this situation. America money will go.poor Americans
  • @TriggaHapppyy
People who say the last Irans attack was a failure is literally lying to themselves. We hit military air bases in Israel and mind you it was Irans old missive technology so imagine now they said they are using hypersonic. Good luck…
  • "We will be very successful here"? This is not our fight. There's nothing in it for us. The good general knows that we, in the US lost big, around the world, since this began October of last year.
  • Check out what Scott Ritter and Douglas McGregor have to say.
  • @joejoe3476
This is the guy responsible for the US drone attack that killed 7 children in Afghanistan in 2021. Although the US eventually admittied the target had been a car carrying aid workers, not militants, no one was ever disciplined. Sound familiar? You might as well interview the IDF spokesperson.
  • @amd1248
He said “we are committed to their defense“ Hmmmm WHY? They’re £ing up the world.
  • ABC News 8/9/24. “Nagasaki marks 79th A-Bomb anniversary without US and other ambassadors after excluding Israel”
  • @DurgaDas96
The lack of depth of this interview, and lack of any pushback, reminds my why I’ve all but given up this sort of mainstream programming.
  • @jayoush
The fact he opens with saying they are a parasite shows you the arrogance and clueless of this so called general
  • @kaalay02
It's laughable what he's saying. Keep dreaming ✨️
