  • I don't think you ever mentioned it but the bamboo also has constant range regardless of the charge. So full charge to tap shot is always consistent without having to worry about not having the range to hit them
  • If they ever give squiffer zipcaster, I apologize in advance for the awful teammate I will become
  • @AtomBacon
I've been describing these as "offbeat" but funky works too.
  • The sad part is if you gave Snipewriter a bomb, it wouldn't be able to throw it without slowing its own charge speed afterwards unless it used up a bunch of gear slots on ink saver, because it needs to have 40% ink remaining to have full charge speed.
  • Seeing Gem learn the hard way that bamboozler had more range than him as squiffer was really funny to me as a bamboozler main, lol. Some tips for playing it since I can tell you weren't used to the weapon: you want to use full-charge shots to paint for sure. You also want to stay out of ink as you're doing it; I noticed you had a habit of firing a shot, diving into ink and then firing another (something that even carried over to the snipewriter for a moment), but you absolutely don't want to do this as bamboozler. If you're aiming to paint then you can do it much better by firing many full charged shots one after the other as you strafe to the side, and if you're fighting then you should always be up and ready to land that second shot needed to kill.

    1) Don’t tap fire to paint with bamboo 2)I honestly think that bamboo can paint better than squiffer. This is from someone who uses both the weapons
  • I quite like the current kit of Bamboozler. I use it as an anti backline, especially against other chargers.

I think Snipewriter 5H could be an interesting niche similar to what Ballpoint nouveau was in 2. Since this weapon doesn't like abandoning its charge, Beakon would be great on it, and a deployable special like Storm, Wavebreaker, or Wail 5.1 would allow it to charge while the special is active.
  • Another thing with the goo Tiber is that it has no end lag when coming out of the ink while holding a charge so it can quickly go in and out of ink while holding a charge while other chargers have a longer animation
  • For goo tuber, it's important to take advantage of the high paint output you can get with tap shots to cover important areas. Not only do you make it much harder for your opponents to move around freely, but you also charge missiles, which is basically the reason to run goo tuber in the first place. Also, keep in mind that the missile timer goes just as long whether you fire them immediately or wait, so you should take your time when firing them and prioritize targeting backliners to get more value out of them

Bamboozler my dear, my love. It may not be meta but I adore playing it because as Gem mentions, if you get used to its range and comboing charged shots with partial charge shots and tap shots, you become a brick wall. There's nothing more satisfying than watching people underestimate it and try to approach and shoot you in the face while you just combo them and kill them before they realize what's going on. Plus I like how it combos with Killer Wail, if you hit someone with an 85 shot, just grazing them with the Wail will finish them off.

Bamboo can be played as an Anti-Backline and a zoner. It does not have to follow these two roles though. It CAN get up close but only if you're good at dodging and tracking simultaneously (which is Tetra territory except for this it requires MORE skill for the same results or less) I find it to be a good break from using "good"/better weapons. If you're not aiming well one day, don't worry! You can supply chip damage by just spamming Charges. (You'll be less annoying than a Stringer too)
  • If anyone is wondering goo tap shot has range barely outranging n zap (by a single step at most) and can do 6 squidrolls with a charge hold. It is also the only charger that can surge with a charge hold without equipping a lot of intensify.
  • I think its important to note that bamboo is great at crossfire, ie firing at enemies engaged in a 1v1 with ur teammates, hitting for 85 damage at that range or even a partial charge can give ur teammate an easy win or finish them off
  • @pangake
Pizza is coming. This is excellent.
  • please do blasters next i need chara help but he’s playing stamper now
  • @bbborbo
wait, squiffer charges at full speed in the air and they DIDNT give it zipcaster? they had the potential for the ultimate funny trickshot weapon and didnt take it 😭
