Allie left out my favorite Calvinist passage: "For God so loved the elect that He gave his one and only Son, so that the elect, who will believe in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the elect, but to save the elect through Him." -John 3:16-17

I'm glad Allie brought this up. Augments the debate. It does strike me odd that a person who believes in conservative principles would ascribe to a theological system that makes everyone a mindless slave.

Ok .God is so good....I am so grateful that you didn't put part 2 up yet cause I keep going over part 1 (as I am cleaning up the house on this hot day.)and getting more and more each time I go back and re-listen ..since it's not me to catch each part since I am usually running around on my feet ....trying to listen and accomplish tasks also!

Seems pointless for God to reveal Himself to us in general revelation when He MUST change our hearts before we can even come to Him. 🤷🏻♂️

If people followed the Spirit in reading the text instead of traditions, men, and commentaries; much of the division and confusion would be gone. I used to just repeat what I was taught. Poor lady. I think she's sincere and just led into error by man. ☹💔

I sooo appreciate u breaking this down point by point! Ive been so bummed to find out the growing list of Calvinists out there! I thought, not Allie too😭!! Ur explanations have been VERY helpful to me as the Calvinists have quite a knack of packaging each belief in such a way that I start questioning if I do believe the same! 🤦🏻♀️ I needed this clarification more than u know!! It still amazes me when I hear a mother talk about Total Depravity. Hearing how much that infant “hates” God makes my stomach turn. The phrases are not natural to any loving parents but especially the mother who gave birth to her child... Vipers in Diapers. Wicked from the Womb. Conceived into Condemnation. Born Bad. Delivered into deceit I think this is why female Calvinists isn’t really a more popular thing. If we look, will we find Ally’s father or husband is the strong Calvinist.

Dr. Flowers, I love your videos & book. They were very helpful to me esp a few years ago to finally see that Calvinism is a perversion of the true Gospel & why. Thank you so much! But now I have also come to understand Mid-Acts Dispensationalism & how to rightly divide the Scriptures via Randy White Ministries. The Bible is making more sense than ever & I now see how there came about so much confusion in the first place! Have you taken a look at M.A.D.? Blessings!

Hey all. Does anyone here think the means of salvation (outside of through grace by faith alone) is a primary issue/division? I enjoy listening to soteriology theology but I wonder if we are too focused on letters about ourselves rather than pages about God.
