Puts bike in rain mode. Does acceleration test. Then continues to complain about engine being unengaging. Hilarious stuff. 😂
  • Yammie Noob not liking a specific model of motorcycle is one of the best accolades that model could receive. Brands should actually start publicizing that - "Yammie Noob disapproved".

I have a 2017 BMW R9T Scrambler and absolutely love it. Gorgeous bike and I constantly have people stop to tell me how much they love it. Great power. Super responsive. Just fun to ride. I love that there’s no tachometer, you don’t need it. Simple, pure, fun riding.
  • @loganellis9867
I feel like your whole rationale for disliking the bike is that you have found better noises in other bikes. The charm of this bike is how simple it is. It’s home is not on the track or on a trail, it’s breezing through turns going about 70 on a nice day. It’s just a simply fun bike.
  • To each their own. I have always liked the old BMW airheads as a iconic bike. I rode a R9T on a demo day and really liked it. One thing that stood out to me was the bubble of air while riding at around 65mph for me. It was like it had an invisible windshield. I've never experienced that on a naked bike.

About six months ago, I saw one of these in red. blue, black and white and it was one of the most beautiful motorcycles I had ever seen. The paintwork is astonishing. I talked to the owner in the parking lot for twenty minutes about how he liked it. He had replaced the front and rear lights and done some other work and was talking about a different exhaust as well. but that bike looked like something out of a heavy metal cartoon. The price is a killer for me but what a piece of rolling artwork.
  • Did you leave it in Rain Mode? That would reduce power and throttle response compared to Road or Dynamic modes. The engine definitely is more lively that Rain mode.
  • 😂😂 keeps it in rain mode the whole time and talks about performance

40 years of riding, several brands from around the globe and various models then purchased my incredible 2017 R Nine T Scrambler - Satisfaction! This immensely capable machine takes me all distances and terrains without being stressed. Cannot fault these amazing rides.
  • @kimw200blaze4
Reviews like this just confirmed why I no longer sub to this channel...
  • I know two people who are touring the world on the R NineT, so 'coffee shop to coffee shop' is a load of crap.
  • @JeeFtw
Man I have the exact opposite opinion of this engine. I rode a stock 1200GS a few times and I really liked it. I've owned an SV650 , XT600 , GSXR750 (all with aftermarket exhaust) and currently own an MT 09, and I still loved the engine feel and sound on the stock 1200.
  • @GearHeadGeeks
Please tell me you didn't evaluate how this thing runs in "RAIN" mode.
  • it's a great bike, I love mine! It stands out from the crowd of other "modern retros" and has such character with the Boxer engine.
  • Bro, boxers are número uno! Loved that thing when I got to rip it around with you! Glad to see you’re better with the clutch than me 😂
  • @woogieman02
I just got mine a week ago. Runs great and is a blast to ride. Really smooth and there isn't another one in town. So it really stands out!
  • If you can get hold of one, you really need to try out one of the old K series BMW's. The K100 was a 1000cc inline 4, and the K75 was a 750cc inline 3 (the 1000cc engine minus one cylinder, and a balancer shaft added). In typical BMW fashion the engine configuration was not quite what you'd expect. With the engines being turned through 90 degrees, compared to your standard inline set up. Very nice, smooth bikes, and a massive step up from the previous generation R series boxers.
  • @Motodidakt
I really enjoy that your new location has you starting your rides in my neighborhood 😁. I've never ridden a boxer twin but I'm not crazy about the looks of them. Seems a bit awkward having the cylinders sticking out so far each way.
