Sorry for the jump scare at 3:55 :D Let me know your thoughts about this change! Super happy that Aisling slams are now itemised, but I'm curious about the impact it'll have on crafting and the economy

bit weird that they dont keep old veiled chaos orb and add the aisling as veiled exalted orb

GGG crafting changes are so consistent: hurt the casual players, leave the top end ultra crafters unaffected

I think GGG wants us to check the dropped Veiled items now. Even before adding meta-crafts, Veiled Chaos Orbs rolled equal mods to the dropped items, but you chose the base. I do miss doing meta-crafts with Veiled Chaos Orbs to fix suffixes and whatnot, but I do now realize Veiled Chaos Orbs made Veiled item drops less interesting.

This veiled chaos removal is kind of a make or break change for me, it is such a massive nerf based on the assumption that the cost of the veiled orb will be higher than a old veiled chaos and prevents those important life/accessory and boot/ms crafts that are good mid game, this might be enough to make me want to skip the league unless they change it before launch.

Hey @Lolcohol I was wondering if you can come up with a Rog guide video for league start to help with all these changes. I know you have some Rog videos in the past but they weren't really guides, it was just a sort of going through some Rog crafts randomly. And I know you recommend Spicy Sushi for Rog guides but I still prefer your style of presentation. So was wondering if you can make one for league start.

assuming aislings previous tiers stay unchanged sorta, do you think they could sorta function like how vcorbs function now?

I'd guess that 3.24 is a crafting league again, didn't have one in quiet a while. So this might just be a pure buff depending on how good the crafting mechanic is - if we get one :)

Are they converting veiled to the new ones or just deleting them and “re-adding” them as the new ones?

Force increasing damage over time duration. I'd often start with a good suffix fracture than veiled chaos spam until I got it because it was 30 times cheaper than buying a ton of aisling slams.

It would be cool if veiled items that dropped from syndicate could drop with multiple veiled mods. Would make those items have a much higher chance of being really good.

As a person who was farming Syndicate for the past two leagues, must point out that T4 Aisling was epxensive because it was tricky to "assign" her to Research and sometimes it was tricky to get her to T3. Gathering intelligence and killing Catarina is much simpler and faster, so depending on the drop rate, it might be significantly cheaper than old Aisling.

Great assessment L. Going to be quite different if nothing else changes, but we will find new ways to deal. Rog and Betrayal may be very profitable next League depending on how the Veiled Chaos Orb drop rate goes. Looking forward to your starter build choices once we get patch notes. Thx for all the work!

Aisling now compatible with hinekora’s lock, so I’m sure on the higher end you can do some interesting things with that.

Affliction league was the first time I ran through maps and actually did the end game, and not gonna lie I figured out pretty quick that they really need to have an orb for this Aisling slam bullshit. I'm glad they did it, but I wish they would have just added a currency orb instead of changing it.
