I find it amazing they made a video almost 3 min long about a toilet.

That is exactly how the vacuum toilet system works above 16,000 FT altitude - differential pressure is used to evacuate the holding tanks. When the airplane is on the ground and up to 16,000 FT, electric vacuum pumps are used to evacuate the holding tanks. Correct valve sequencing prevents cabin decompression.

i love how the paper turns into dust almost by the time it gets to the tank lol
-
Almost as fast as my dumping speed

This video is Puntastic

wow nice video!

Also the water evaporates at room temperature whenever it is put into a vacuum. Oh ya and breaking the myth of getting stuck to a vacuum toilet. The lavatory sink drain runs into the toilet (just under the rim). If you were to seal yourself around the toilet seat, the drain would act as a vacuum breaker.

Boy imagine the day my shit travels the speed of light.

Vacuum flush; very common on commercial aircraft and some ships

Just here reading comments from 14 years ago. I come from the future and the A380 program is finished :(

”This Is Formula One Technology For Toilets” Ah yes, seeing my shit speed along at 130MPH, but I’m sorry a friend of mine shitted onboard Concord and it was doing Mach 2.
-
I wish my home toilet was that fast!
-
130mph ? Jeez, now that's one FAST turd !!!
-
damn, nice toilet.
-
it's interesting because, actually, it would not be possible to build such an airplane without it.
-
Do they not also use the same system on say, amtrack trains?
