Sting joining the nWo Wolfpac was one of the most shocking moments in all of WCW history and still to this day it's disputed whether or not it was a good thing or not.

Man I forgot how pissed I would get when Disco Inferno joined. I was super pissed when he joined the Filthy Animals.

Hit like if Sting should've won clean at Starrcade 1997

This version of sting was one of my favorite and when I sit and watch how he joined the Wolfpack I damn best lost my mind one of my greatest memory's in wrestling

The reason I used to do the "TOO SWEEEEET!" gesture back in high school.

In my mind Sting could do no wrong. Just like Steve Austin in WWF I still cheered Sting in the Wolfpac and I cheered Stone Cold in the alliance.

I remember playing nwo vs wcw 2 on n64 as a wee lad and wolfpak sting was my favorite character!!

Wolfpac Sting seemed like Steve Borden if he was Just Kickin it and you had to evolve that gimmck, now Lex Luger is a totally different Story...

I LOVE u 4 this 💯😎 I watched EVERY Thunder n Nitro episode from 96-2001, and this is STRAIGHT NOSTALGIC!!!

To the naysayers, I guess you had to have been watching it and living it as it was happening, because there was a sliver in time where the nwo wolfpac was the most popular faction in all of wrestling! After Sting joined, every arena looked like a Nebraska university home game. Every crowd was just a sea of red. It was awesome!

It was epic to see Sting in NWO wolfpack, he was able to show a lot more emotion.

In fairness about the whole Disco Inferno thing, he only came in after the reunification. He was never a part of the '98 Wolfpac. But, I think Nash was booking at the time that became a thing. So, yeah, another reason Nash should've never been handed the book.

Hey, I LOVED Wolfpac Sting!! It seemed to be the most sensible way to book him, after WCW dropped the ball with him, at Starrcade 1997! Hell, I was a huge mark for the Wolfpac, & was beyond pissed when the "fingerpoke of doom" ended all that. NWO Elite was a complete & total failure, that should've never happened!
  • @SVDFVCEEMOJI
Wolfpac Sting was my favourite Sting growing up but i never really saw the Wolfpac the same as the NWO
  • @StarsDie88
Really the ONLY thing wrong with the angle was that the Wolfpac was considered an "NWO faction"... Had they just dropped the "NWO" moniker and stuck solely with "Wolfpac" with the idea being a faction that would "take down the NWO", I think it would have elevated the storyline. It also would have been ideal to stick Bret Hart in the faction where he could team with Sting and win the tag belts and shit like that.
