The Highwaymen perform "I've Always Been Crazy" at Farm Aid VI in Ames, Iowa on April 24, 1993.

Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

Farm Aid's performances are donated by the artists in order to raise funds and raise awareness for family farmers. They've raised their voices to help — what can you do?

I saw Waylon 3 times in concert. The absolute best was the Cowboy Bar in Jackson, Wyoming, in the early 80’s. Mostly cowboys from local ranches. Including myself and nine friends from the same ranch. We occupied one corner of the bar and kept yelling Hank. At the end of the concert Waylon left for a couple of minutes and came back for an encore. The very last song he said. “This one is for those rowdy cowboys over there.” He pointed at us, waved and smiled. The song, “Are You Sure Hank done It This Way.” Thank you Waylon and thank you the Highwaymen. All of you are awesome. Never to be replaced…

It's so sad that he passed away just few years after this. He looks really healthy and young... and yeah, im really sad, that i was only 3 years old, when he died, so i never had a chance to see him on stage :(
