When your drummer actually beats the piss out of his set instead of imitating it on stage.

I think it’s fascinating how this is almost like a completely different band then how they are now but they’re still the black keys it’s awesome

damn... so fucking raw and powerful it could crush your skull. I Imagine this sound coming from the basement of a house a hot sunday evening while I am walking through a desert neighborhood... simply amazing

although they won a grammy with other hits, i believe this was their best album.

This Dan is the one who influenced me soooo much lol. Crazy cuz we play so much alike now because when I was learning at 15 that's who interested me the most. His playing just sticks to the ear! Now his studio Easy Eye Sound is putting out INCREDIBLE music from some INCREDIBLE artists... I couldn't be more proud of these guys for real... ✌🖤🤘

Ahhh!! This is a good throw back. Back when the Keys were raw. Just an amazing era for them musically

I grew up with this era of Black Keys and it's just so gritty. A-Class. However, what Danger Mouse did with Attack and Release is the work of gods. Nothing else like it out there.
  • When I think of The Black Keys this is the era and look of the band that I think of. Far better than recent years.
