hello & thanks for checking out this project. so, the idea for this project stemmed from billie eilish's new song, 'come out and play'. because i've been listening to the song a lot and because the cover art of the song is so cute, i thought it'd be cool to create some art inspired by that - and here is the result!
i'm particularly pleased with how this art turned out. to be honest, i wasn't expecting it to turn out the way i'd hoped, but the finished product quite matches what i initially had in my head! read on if you're interested in the designing process :)

d e s i g n i n g p r o c e s s ★
• the lyric 'look up out of your window // see snow, don't let it in though' is what first inspired me to start work on this project
• initially i planned to use four corresponding colours to create the art but in the end i decided to go with shades of the purple
• from the moment the idea of this project popped into my head, i always knew how i wanted the vibe to look and feel. here are the original notes for the design:
'a girl with her hands pressed wide against her bedroom window, snow collecting in the windowpane and purple light reflections from the outdoor decorations shining on her face. she is looking happy, excited and wondrous at the beauty beyond her window'.
