Athena Najat is a professional Oriental dancer/teacher/choreographer. Based currently in Istanbul, Turkey. She is of Greek origin and spent most of her life in Athens Greece and New York, USA. She is a world traveller, expanding her knowlege and being constantly inspired through the traditions and cultural arts of the Middle East and Mediterranean.
She has a Masters of Arts degree in Performance Studies (Dance Ethnography) frm New York University.
