  • Dan is not JUST a genius, he's an obsessive genius. Grateful beyond words to have someone so committed to excellence telling our story.
  • @antoniowimmer
I just can't wrap my head around the fact that any other filmmaker/youtuber alive would have sold this 3 hours information through a masterclass or course for at least 300$ but you just gave it to us for free. I don't have enough words to thank you Dan. This is philanthropy. Most impactful filmmaking Philanthropy I've ever witnessed in this platform. Really, I'm without words. Thank you so much.
  • Just finished the whole video/film/turorial, however you wanna call it. I learned a lot by listening to you. As an autistic person myself and filmmaker, it's very interesting to see how you structure your work, have your own tools in order to work pretty much from anywhere, how your organise your shoot, allocate time to brainstorming, how you can brainstorm on your own, etc etc. I'd like one day to channel to such an level of productivity with the depth that's coming with it. I think most filmmakers would have kind of a story, do some run and gun with some kind of shot list and do the edit using royaltee free music etc. But I believe the difference between a work like this one and another might also be the fact that you helped the channel to read 24M followers and that you received multiple awards since working on the channel. Finally that video is a pure gold knowledge served on a silver plate. I don't know how you managed to make such a video while working on beast's projects, lol Good stuff and keep going
  • a true creator. bought a couple Bru bar packs as a thank you for making this
  • @ErickKhan
You're one of the biggest inspirations any creator on this platform can have man. Thank you for all of the work over the years!! ❤
  • To handle all the workload that comes with Beast Philanthropy is one thing, but to stay committed to the craft whilst educating hundreds of thousands of others and not missing a beat simultaneously is something I've never seen done before. Incredibly grateful for you, Dan.

Hey, great video. In my opinion the biggest problem with YouTubers now is their lack of strategy. Like they upload everything straight away, and then they run out of ideas. This business is about constant uploading, but not too many times per week (and also after I upload something, I use a bit of Famester to make that piece of content instantly viral and popular). It's better to upload like once or twice per week, and it helps to avoid burn out.
  • @LarsForza
After more than a decade of making films for a living myself, you can’t imagine how helpful this tutorial is. thank you for being such an inspiration yet again. 🙌🏼
  • @Thefrenchsearch
The fact that your channel is under 1M followers is truly incomprehensible. Probably the most underrated channel and content on Youtube. Thank you for your videos!
  • @NiisExperience
59:43 I love how humble jimmy is Bru, the next time you meet him kindly extend my deepest love to him for all he does
  • Hey Dan, I watched this film on my 40 min commute to and from work for like 3 days🤣 I just wanted to say thank you for making such an in-depth tutorial. If there’s any storytellers out there who want to work together, I’m from Canada🇨🇦 All I ever want to do is surround myself with people who know a lot more than me so we can all continue to grow together
  • I watched this tutorial all in one sitting! The amount of work you put into this video was mind-boggling! Thanks for the inspiration!
  • This video was so thorough it required a bookmark so I can view again as needed. Thanks for this tutorial and comprehensive lesson.
  • @amrinnimeson
Nobody has released such In-depth Video of Youtube Video creation till date. Your video will definitely help many filmmakers, editors, and aspiring artists. Thank you for your work.
  • @jmfproducer8691
Great tutorial. The thing I really appreciate about this tutorial is the fact that you made it as you went along instead of first finishing the philanthropy video and showing us how you did it. It gives us a bit more insight into 1) what it's like working as a videographer/editor/director, 2) what it's like working on such a massive project like Beast Philanthropy and, 3) a little bit of your life. Loved every second of this and inspired. Off to make a film.
  • @travelwithbo
Took me about a week to get through this tutorial. Thank you so much!!! Very helpful. I am still learning the art of "story telling" and have ways to go... A little better with each video.
  • @mikael.diy.
Went here after watching "We Powered a Mountain" 🎉 I'm glad a BTS video has been released!
  • @1stviperr
Dan just wanted to say, as someone who lived in south africa for 17 years growing up. Thank you for being part of something wonderful. You inspire me to tell my stories.
  • @KazzyOfficial
Holy crap, I literally had my credit card details inside of MasterClass to take a filmmaking course. Then I just felt like searching on YouTube to see if I could find a video instead of subscribing to MasterClass, and I am so happy I did because I found this masterpiece. Thank you for saving me $240!
  • This is one of the most needed videos I have ever seen. You charged me with energy and showed me a lot of things I didn’t know. Thank you, my craving for this kind of work has only increased!
